Week 4
It finally happened. Someone murdered, and was punished for it. After a particularly grueling trial, one much worse than the games ever were, everyone definitely needed the rest of the weekend to rest up. But now it is Monday once more, and that means it is time to get back to 'work'.
The cameras have moved again, and the contestants will need to be careful where they say what until their new locations have been revealed. In addition to that, the house itself seems to have changed, with its usual colorful appearance suddenly a bit more grey. Even the weather seems to be gloomy, with those storm clouds from last week starting to overcast the area, threatening to drop rain.
Seventeen contestants remain in this game of death. How many more will fall before the game is over? And how many more will be driven to murder?

Motive
Good morning~ Hopefully everyone is rested!
I have some interesting news for all of you! See, I just got this email from a friend in the research department, and apparently they have found what appears to be a way to send people home! Not just to your familiar sites, but back to your worlds. And I have been told to make that your motive for the week: kill somebody and don't get caught at the trial, and you get to go home.
Oh, but if you don't want to go back to your world, that's fine too. Anyone who doesn't want to go home can just be pulled out of the game and sent back to their previous site. Same stipulation to not get caught applies though!
[If you want to ask questions, feel free to do so. He will stay behind today to talk. ]

He missed home like a constant ache, especially this week. This week, of all weeks. Atsushi wraps his arms around himself, and some might notice the tips of his fingers look too sharp. Claws.]
...That’s too cruel.
[He looks about ready to cry for a moment before he shakes his head, expression growing determined. That was the point, wasn’t it?]
The Foundation really is too cruel.

Poor Domicile... 'Twas the first death in your walls. Dumped in your very veins like so much garbage. No wonder you look ill.

It makes me wonder if the emotions that were fueled by the death isn't helping the House at all.

TIGER TALK MEETING + cw alcohol mentions
that.
might actually be a little bit dangerous. for 'Doezai'. so coming up with backup plans is always necessary and not to mention the fact that everyone should actually know about this. she's not making the same mistakes that she made last time.
anyway, meeting is happening in the common room - it isn't as if it's a really secret meeting that they have to hide anything at this time, so it's fine to do it up in public. people will notice that Inaba has prepared two cups of tea and she even has the actual catnip and valerian root plants with her.
once everyone - or at least a majority of everyone, because she is inviting as many people as she possibly can but isn't going to force anyone to show up around the afternoon, she'l clap her hands to bring attention. to herself. ]
Okay, listen up everyone. I know a bunch of you guys are aware of Atsushi's ability, and I know that maybe things won't turn to shit [ . . . 'this time' she wants to say, but she'll only make herself feel worse, and she doesn't want that ] but I wanted to bring everyone together for a little announcement and demonstration.
Tomorrow, the sixteenth of July, is the full moon. Which means that it's important that to know that in case of emergency -- if he sees the full moon at any moment and Dazai decides not to nullify it the rest of the night, we'll have to deal with it ourselves. I have a bunch of plans from the last time I had to deal with this personally, and I'm quite certain Atsushi might have spoken to . . . some of you.
[ she knows what kind of person he is.
she knows what kind of person she is. ]
Anyway, your best friend in case of any tiger emergency is using one of these.
[ AND SHE WHIPS OUT THE CATNIP AND VALERIAN ROOT ]
It can also be used in tea and other drinks. There's apparently catnip wine.
[ it... exists ]
I also have an application on my phone that Yoshi made that's meant to knock out tigers, and I've saved a lot of relaxing cat music, as well. There's other things that could probably work, like laser pointers or yarn or boxes, but catnip and valerian root is useful.
Anyway, I'd advise towards closing all the windows with blinds or whatever the hell--
And in the worst case scenario, our best bet would probably to lead Byakko outside and keep everyone who wouldn't want to deal with him indoors, as far into the house as they possibly can.
That's it. If anybody wants to follow up, feel free-- and I'm willing to answer any questions as well. Oooor show a demonstration on what catnip and valerian root does to an Atsushi.

[ oda can be found in the common room for most of the morning. he himself is laying on one of the couches, eyes closed. he appears to be asleep at the very least, but maybe he isn't.
more importantly, a couple feet in front of the couch there's an assortment of goods to choose from, such as: a coat, this shirt, these shorts, a hat, whatever the fuck this is, and two sets of nail beauty kits.
please take them from him. or bother him. ]
outside - post motive
[ after the motive is announced, oda's sitting on the edge of the trampoline. his back is facing the house, and he doesn't really seem to respond to anyone that might approach him.
there's also a lit cigarette between his fingers, but it seems to just be idly burning away without even coming close to his mouth.
in general, he's just in a haze, perhaps drowning in his own thoughts. ]

POWERS AND ABILITIES SHARE
She'll also be going around gathering people once lunch has been prepared, because she has a request!]
We talked about it during the trial, but I'd like to make it official. I'd like for everyone to share what powers and skills they have. I know it's possible for people to hide their powers if they don't want to talk about it - but I think it's more important for us to get as much information as we can in case we need it in the future.
Things are just going to get harder with each week, and if people have powers or talents that they can use to help out during games or... other incidents, I think it's better if we share them now.
[So, she places a hand on her chest.]
My main power is cantus. Most people in this time know of it as psychokinesis. It lets me affect reality through mental images. One example is by imagining a hand carrying items for me, but there are more complicated images that can have more complicated results. Other than that, my physical abilities are pretty much average.

[At some point, Silver does make it back to his room… and there’s a variety of new stuff on his bed. Including a huge, long box with a purple bow. There’s a tag that says “for Giriko”]
Oh… my god. What the heck is in this box….?

Silver ties the box back up as nicely as he can and floats it into the living room. Then he cups his hands around his mouth and just

[Atsushi woke up to... well, what felt like a significant amount of gag gifts piled in his bed. The catnip wine gets an eyeroll out of him, as well as him wondering who exactly is the one choosing these things. The hoodie was welcome, soft and warm and colorful, and he decides to wear it today given the gloomy, stormy looking weather.
Later, he can be found tugging a cheerfully morbid looking pool floatie out to the pool with a deadpan grimace.]
I feel like this is someone's idea of a bad joke. This is almost Dazai-san's brand of humor.
Outside
[After... that, Atsushi can be found outside meditating during the afternoon, then taking a swim a little later. He's doing his best to relax, to calm the jitters he always feels the day before the full moon.
It's helping. Somewhat. Even if he knows it'll be different this time, he can't help but remember the closeness of the cell he's always locked in, the hazy terror, the pain--
Just the memories have his pulse racing, and he ducks his head under the water to cool his head for a moment.]
