Week 4

It finally happened. Someone murdered, and was punished for it. After a particularly grueling trial, one much worse than the games ever were, everyone definitely needed the rest of the weekend to rest up. But now it is Monday once more, and that means it is time to get back to 'work'.

The cameras have moved again, and the contestants will need to be careful where they say what until their new locations have been revealed. In addition to that, the house itself seems to have changed, with its usual colorful appearance suddenly a bit more grey. Even the weather seems to be gloomy, with those storm clouds from last week starting to overcast the area, threatening to drop rain.

Seventeen contestants remain in this game of death. How many more will fall before the game is over? And how many more will be driven to murder?

[It is getting close to night time, and the sun is just starting to set. Preparations have already been made for the sleepover, and even Dazai is present in the house, just sitting around and waiting with everyone else.

But then, as the sun begins to set, everyone will be able to hear a song coming from outside.]

[Early in the morning, once the sun had risen and the sleepover had ended, Dazai had left to go back to his office for a bit.

At noon, he comes back carrying a box of fortune cookies.]

Hello everyone~ I have some good news! Since you all have been doing wonderfully, I was given permission to not have an official game this Wednesday. Instead, I was given this to share with all of you.

Everyone has to take at least one, but if you want more than one that's fine too. Just be aware that these are magic cookies and some weird stuff is about to happen.

Motive

[When Dazai walks in on Monday, there is no trace of the fear or regret he felt last Saturday. No, he is as closed off as always, smiling like nothing is wrong. And once he gathers everyone in the living room, he will speak the same as he does every week. ]

Good morning~ Hopefully everyone is rested!

I have some interesting news for all of you! See, I just got this email from a friend in the research department, and apparently they have found what appears to be a way to send people home! Not just to your familiar sites, but back to your worlds. And I have been told to make that your motive for the week: kill somebody and don't get caught at the trial, and you get to go home.

Oh, but if you don't want to go back to your world, that's fine too. Anyone who doesn't want to go home can just be pulled out of the game and sent back to their previous site. Same stipulation to not get caught applies though!

[ Alcor's wearing a smile which is not as common as it usually is these past few days. What kind of smile it is, is enigmatic however. ]

In how many parts I wonder: concealment certainly, but it also makes accomplices riskier.

[Ingway utterly ignores the motive: he has no "home" to yearn for anymore. Instead he can be found in the usual places- the garage, the kitchen. He's easy enough to find if you need him.

But beside his normal haunts you might catch him wandering the House, doing... measurements? Writing his findings in a notebook.]

[ a part of her wants to say 'I'm surprised it didn't start looking sick earlier', but she refrains from doing so entirely, because a part of her wonders if the House knows what 'Dazai' is doing. ]

It makes me wonder if the emotions that were fueled by the death isn't helping the House at all.
