Week 4
It finally happened. Someone murdered, and was punished for it. After a particularly grueling trial, one much worse than the games ever were, everyone definitely needed the rest of the weekend to rest up. But now it is Monday once more, and that means it is time to get back to 'work'.
The cameras have moved again, and the contestants will need to be careful where they say what until their new locations have been revealed. In addition to that, the house itself seems to have changed, with its usual colorful appearance suddenly a bit more grey. Even the weather seems to be gloomy, with those storm clouds from last week starting to overcast the area, threatening to drop rain.
Seventeen contestants remain in this game of death. How many more will fall before the game is over? And how many more will be driven to murder?

It's fine. He won't let those claws anywhere near Akira.]
....I... I wasn't like this, back home. I had control back home.

I don't think where you are is the deciding factor here. Though I'm guessing how the Foundation handles you hasn't helped.
But it isn't your fursona I'm worried about here. You seem pretty upset. I'm concerned for you.

Fursona...?
[He tilts his head. It's not a word he's familiar with, but... it sounded kind of like--] Are you talking about the tiger?
[That's what it sounded like. The odd use of the word has pulled him out of his headspace just a little, at the very least.]
Of course I'm going to be upset. They're lying about something so...
[...Something he wanted desperately. Freedom, having control again... All the people he missed.]

Not that the claws aren't kind of hot but that's neither here nor there.
[Akira you can't just-!]
And I'm not saying you don't have plenty of reason to be upset. I just want to make sure you get through this okay. That's what friends do, right?

His face is bright red.]
T-They're-- what?! You can't just--
[He swallows, trying to focus on the conversation more than that outrageous statement. Why would anyone find that hot???
And... he'd called him friend. That evoked a different kind of warmth altogether, one that's a little less flustering.]
I-I'll be okay... I think. It's just... a lot to take in, right now.
[Especially right now.]

[It's a little light, playful, before Akira gets more serious again.
He lifts a hand to run through Atsushi's hair gently, scratching a bit.]
I know. We'll get through everything together, though, right?
no subject
The hand running through his hair though is grounding in it's own unique way. Atsushi relaxes into his touch, shoulders slowly losing a bit of the tension in them as his eyes slide closed.]
...Yeah. We will. We have to.
[It's said a bit more firmly, even if his voice is soft. There's too much at risk, too many people he cared about who's lives might be on the line here.]

Akira smiles a little as Atsushi relaxes and continues to pet him.]
Good. As long as you remember that, it'll be alright in the end.
