Week 4
It finally happened. Someone murdered, and was punished for it. After a particularly grueling trial, one much worse than the games ever were, everyone definitely needed the rest of the weekend to rest up. But now it is Monday once more, and that means it is time to get back to 'work'.
The cameras have moved again, and the contestants will need to be careful where they say what until their new locations have been revealed. In addition to that, the house itself seems to have changed, with its usual colorful appearance suddenly a bit more grey. Even the weather seems to be gloomy, with those storm clouds from last week starting to overcast the area, threatening to drop rain.
Seventeen contestants remain in this game of death. How many more will fall before the game is over? And how many more will be driven to murder?

[Why is Alcor like a weirdly mysterious and annoying teacher some of the time, have some grouching about it.]

[It's a mutter like a reflex answer to something else that might not be entirely Alcor, before Nora shakes his head and squints at him.]
What's the other way to view things.
[Should he sound so suspicious about it. Yes. This one is entirely at Alcor.]
no subject
There are many. Unless you're asking the way I view things?

[Remember: the key is STRAIGHTFORWARD here, gosh. Alcor...]

I would not work with someone in that capacity unless I shared a bond with them. [ He pauses then continues. ]
When I act, I need to be sure of my actions or it is easy to become lost. Therefore, this is the easiest way for me.

[There's a little tilt of his head because Alcor sounds weird there, or weird in a slightly different direction than his usual, but it's not an easy thing for Nora to catch. He might ruminate it later. For now, time to box it up to go.]
So you'd wanna be able to trust somebody an' figure out how they work... huh. [by the way he talks he didn't completely expect that, possibly because of Alcor's usual attitude, but Nora isn't getting into that right now] No wonder it took you a billion years to walk a couple times.
[It's exasperated, but Nora is usually exasperated -- he might be the absolute polar opposite here.]
... Guess it ain't really walking but I don't think it's that complicated, either.

[ The where sounds like it matters less than actually moving in the first place. ]
Maybe so. I did not find last week complicated, it was more clear than it has been in a while.

[It's debatable if he's using the terminology correctly or if he's watched too many roadtrip movies but it's fine. There's a vague recollection of something about paths and directions and moving but he's clipping along on instinct either way. Also, grumpily:]
Last week was complicated as hell, thanks.
[THANKS, ALCOR.]

[ When box just comes out and admits he has favorites. ]
I will take that to mean that it was not boring. You are welcome, Nora.
no subject
[Box, please, you've always played favorites. Nora might not be the best at reading people but he has at least one pair and at most six pairs of eyes, and all of them are watching the actions of others with great suspicion at all times.
There's a brief but real flash of annoyance across his face because... well, because everything about the last week. It was A Thing, okay. Maybe what's surprising is that there's only a bit of an edge to his voice after; instead of whatever happened there at trial.]
I wouldn't-- Look, I'd rather some other kind of interesting.
no subject
[ He smiles stupidly proud of this. ]
Hm, I see. That is unfortunate, but I acted in what ways I felt were necessary. But I predicted that everyone would be displeased with me, even if some of the displeasure was milder than I expected.
[ ...he gets it, as much as Alcor can get it. And this might be his way of saying he appreciates that Nora is cutting him some slack here. ]
