Week 4
It finally happened. Someone murdered, and was punished for it. After a particularly grueling trial, one much worse than the games ever were, everyone definitely needed the rest of the weekend to rest up. But now it is Monday once more, and that means it is time to get back to 'work'.
The cameras have moved again, and the contestants will need to be careful where they say what until their new locations have been revealed. In addition to that, the house itself seems to have changed, with its usual colorful appearance suddenly a bit more grey. Even the weather seems to be gloomy, with those storm clouds from last week starting to overcast the area, threatening to drop rain.
Seventeen contestants remain in this game of death. How many more will fall before the game is over? And how many more will be driven to murder?

TIGER TALK MEETING + cw alcohol mentions
that.
might actually be a little bit dangerous. for 'Doezai'. so coming up with backup plans is always necessary and not to mention the fact that everyone should actually know about this. she's not making the same mistakes that she made last time.
anyway, meeting is happening in the common room - it isn't as if it's a really secret meeting that they have to hide anything at this time, so it's fine to do it up in public. people will notice that Inaba has prepared two cups of tea and she even has the actual catnip and valerian root plants with her.
once everyone - or at least a majority of everyone, because she is inviting as many people as she possibly can but isn't going to force anyone to show up around the afternoon, she'l clap her hands to bring attention. to herself. ]
Okay, listen up everyone. I know a bunch of you guys are aware of Atsushi's ability, and I know that maybe things won't turn to shit [ . . . 'this time' she wants to say, but she'll only make herself feel worse, and she doesn't want that ] but I wanted to bring everyone together for a little announcement and demonstration.
Tomorrow, the sixteenth of July, is the full moon. Which means that it's important that to know that in case of emergency -- if he sees the full moon at any moment and Dazai decides not to nullify it the rest of the night, we'll have to deal with it ourselves. I have a bunch of plans from the last time I had to deal with this personally, and I'm quite certain Atsushi might have spoken to . . . some of you.
[ she knows what kind of person he is.
she knows what kind of person she is. ]
Anyway, your best friend in case of any tiger emergency is using one of these.
[ AND SHE WHIPS OUT THE CATNIP AND VALERIAN ROOT ]
It can also be used in tea and other drinks. There's apparently catnip wine.
[ it... exists ]
I also have an application on my phone that Yoshi made that's meant to knock out tigers, and I've saved a lot of relaxing cat music, as well. There's other things that could probably work, like laser pointers or yarn or boxes, but catnip and valerian root is useful.
Anyway, I'd advise towards closing all the windows with blinds or whatever the hell--
And in the worst case scenario, our best bet would probably to lead Byakko outside and keep everyone who wouldn't want to deal with him indoors, as far into the house as they possibly can.
That's it. If anybody wants to follow up, feel free-- and I'm willing to answer any questions as well. Oooor show a demonstration on what catnip and valerian root does to an Atsushi.
[ INABA PLEASE ]

That's why it's best for him to stay indoors on the evening of the full moon, away from any windows or anywhere that the moonlight can shine.

Keeping everyone safe was his top priority, and had been since the beginning. Still, he does look nervous and a bit ashamed. He doesn’t want them to think less of him for this.
He might be a monster, but he still hated being looked at like one.]
I’ve been preparing for this, so I have a few plans in place. But it never hurts to be too prepared for this. I don’t want to hurt—
[And then Inaba pulls out the catnip and there sure are cat slitted eyes staring straight at her, nose sniffing the air and—
When the heck did he get a tail??]

holding it near Atsushi. ]

Vanitas.
[It’s hissed warningly. Now there’s striped, furry ears to match that tail.]

it kind of reminds her of a conversation she had before-
"And for what it's worth? I don't think you're a monster, regardless of what that asshole said."
"I literally turn into a monster, so he was technically right. In a way.
...honestly he was probably right in the other way too."
"...Hey.
You didn't look like a monster to me. Sure, you got out of control? But that doesn't make you a monster. In either way. That fucker-- the Barghest? He might have been controlling someone? But he had a choice to kill someone. Getting out of control is different.
You. You're not a monster, okay? Don't say that... about yourself. If you can tell me that I'm a good person? Then I'm telling you this."
but those thoughts are soon cut off as she sees his eyes staring directly at her and the fact that he has a tail and--
okay yeah let's slowly lean the catnip closer to Atsushi. ]

[Sounds more like he's talking about a misbehaving housecat because eh, even if Cerberus got shrunk he still has no qualms about tiger wrestling because he's an idiot. And yes, he also smells that catnip and it's pretty obvious what's going on here.
There's a snort and then he's going to rifle around to see if they have a laser pointer on hand.]

So tigers react to all of this the same way?

I'm Plan B. Kitten already asked me to deal with him if the tiger gets out.

[ it's
literally a reference to 'the moon over the mountain', which is a book written by the real Atsushi ]
Well, he probably can turn into a tiger under other circumstances, like from emotional outbursts and stuff, but the full moon evening itself is the most dangerous time.

I completely forgot about the time. I'm sorry, Atsushi.
[Ugh... Still, she can't wallow in self-pity now.]
I might be able to help a little with stopping him, but I'm not confident my cantus can hold up against a tiger's weight for long.
