Week 4

It finally happened. Someone murdered, and was punished for it. After a particularly grueling trial, one much worse than the games ever were, everyone definitely needed the rest of the weekend to rest up. But now it is Monday once more, and that means it is time to get back to 'work'.

The cameras have moved again, and the contestants will need to be careful where they say what until their new locations have been revealed. In addition to that, the house itself seems to have changed, with its usual colorful appearance suddenly a bit more grey. Even the weather seems to be gloomy, with those storm clouds from last week starting to overcast the area, threatening to drop rain.

Seventeen contestants remain in this game of death. How many more will fall before the game is over? And how many more will be driven to murder?

... eh?! M-me? I'm.... I'm no good at creative stuff. You've seen my t-shirt...

Neither am I.

[Silver seems hesitant]

... Well... I guess. It won't be anything special. My idea of a chicken coop was a tarp over some chairs.

[darkova]

It will be something we would not have otherwise. 'Tis special enough.

[iblistriggered]

[he rubs the back of his neck] I don't even know where to start with something like that...

[darkova]

How would you wish to be remembered?

[iblistriggered]

I... dunno. I've never really thought about it... I guess something like a grave, with a photo... somewhere kind of private, so you can just... sit and talk for a while...

[darkova]

[He nods]

Well, there's nowhere completely private here but...

[He leads Silver around to the side of the house]

'Tis quieter over here, I'd say? Perhaps some plants and a seat?

[iblistriggered]

Hah.... Hence "somewhat" private.

[Silver follows like a bit of a lost puppy, tilting his head]

.... Yeah. I wonder if the house will give me some flowers to plant, if I ask... And some new photos....

[darkova]

I'm sure it would. It's been very kind with food, and plants are just a step over I should think?

[iblistriggered]

I got some herbs the other day. Dunno what to do about a seat, though.

[darkova]

Worse comes to it we can bring one of the chairs from inside. Or see if the Prinnies can provide some wood and nails.

[iblistriggered]

[Silver sighs]

Well, it'll give me something to do, at least. ... let's see... [he starts talking, mostly to himself, but Ingway can overhear easily] The eaves of the house should protect the photos if I put them up against the wall.... the House has good gutters, but... some water will still fall down off the roof if it rains... so I should do it... here.

[he holds his hand out over the grass, the markings on his glove glowing brightly. The outline of an arc, like the shape of a cartoon rainbow with the concave side facing the wall of the house, appears on the ground, glowing in the same teal green.

Then, Silver lifts his hand, and the top layer of grass and soil comes with it in the shape he drew, creating a perfectly shaped hole in the ground a few inches deep. He flings the sod over the fence into the woods]

[darkova]

[Ingway steps back out of the way, leaning against the fence slightly to the side so not to get dirt rained on him.

He doesn't interrupt, just keeping silent company as Silver works though his plans]

[gardening is super easy when you can just LIFT DIRT.

He heads to the garden shed and comes back with a trowel, gardening gloves (which Ingway may recognize as the ones Goro got in the gacha...), and several bags of potting soil in tow]

[darkova]

[Ingway watches him, and then after a moment steps away]

I will return.

[He's not 100% sure Silver is even paying attention to him anymore, but that's fine. He will come back in a few with some wood, a hammer, and nails from the prinnies]

[he's vaguely paying attention! Sort of. But now he's spreading the potting soil into the hole he made]

... Are you going to build a bench?

[darkova]

Aye. Or at least I'm going to try. I've never done something like this before.

[iblistriggered]

Mmmph.. I can't help you there... Construction is... not my forte.

[darkova]

That's fine- perfection is a myth. We only do what we can.

[iblistriggered]

I just hope what I can do is enough...

[darkova]

I have faith in you, Silver.

[iblistriggered]

[he gives Ingway a tired smile]
