Week 4

It finally happened. Someone murdered, and was punished for it. After a particularly grueling trial, one much worse than the games ever were, everyone definitely needed the rest of the weekend to rest up. But now it is Monday once more, and that means it is time to get back to 'work'.

The cameras have moved again, and the contestants will need to be careful where they say what until their new locations have been revealed. In addition to that, the house itself seems to have changed, with its usual colorful appearance suddenly a bit more grey. Even the weather seems to be gloomy, with those storm clouds from last week starting to overcast the area, threatening to drop rain.

Seventeen contestants remain in this game of death. How many more will fall before the game is over? And how many more will be driven to murder?

[Though Silver isn't actually going over there. He's holding on to Nora's shoulder and peeking]

[He makes another grouchy noise but doesn't try to move Silver again now that he can hear again. Nora's just going to stare suspiciously at the corpse some more and then... try kicking it. Is he just going to beat up this corpse. This is why he wasn't the corpse-toucher at investigation, y'all.]

How the hell should I know, never seen him before?? Bet it's the Foundation fucking with us or-- [narrowing his eyes at a discussion from the morning that is probably entirely unrelated but still] --house is gettin' more haunted? Who knows.

Ya don't think they're going to have a trial for this guy, do you.

[He was in a giftbox, after all.]

Don't punch it...! What if it blows up or something? It does belong to Giriko. It might be a bomb.

[Silver makes a face]

I sure hope we don't have to.... there's no way of tellin' how this guy died....

... Doesn't smell like a bomb, but if the fuckin' penguins explode I guess it could happen...

[God what are their lives, why is Giriko's spare corpse a potential penguin bomb. Nora wrinkles his nose also because who knows what this corpse smells like at this point. Somewhat more cautiously, he prods at it. Definitely still dead and not-very-zombielike.]

Guess he ain't going to rise up, at least. Just looks super freakin' dead. Think we should ask Giriko about it??

I dunno if we should ask.... or just deliver it to her and try and forget about it...

I don't fuckin' know about you but I'm going to have a hell of a hard time forgetting about a corpse sitting around the house with Giriko doing who-knows-what.

You can never punch a corpse enough times!! Especially if it belongs to her!!

[That's a very weird sentence in any context but anyway. Why is he like this.]

[He is totally whacking the corpse around like a rubber ball and it half-falls out of its box again......]

[He'll just watch for a moment. He's not... entirely sure how Nora is getting enjoyment out of punching what is in effect just a dummy, but whatever floats his boat]

[PEOPLE KEEP TELLING HIM TO STOP PUNCHING THINGS SO punching a corpse is decidedly not as satisfying as punching something that is around and punches back but still. There's a satisfied cracking sound as Nora finally punches the corpse back into its box and then rolls his shoulders and neck from side to side.]

Hmph. That's better than nothing.

[He even moves the lid and bow back into place. It's a little crooked but eh.]

... I think you broke its nose...

[Silver sighs and readjusts the lid and bow. there! good as... new?]

I didn't break anything?? It was already kinda bent.

[Was it. Fushigi mystery........]

[He's just going to take it out in the living room now]

Don't forget to ask Giriko how he died!!

[He just calls after because even though he wants to see how this goes down he's 1. Wary of Giriko's existence after last week, enough so that he might just spectate sneakily from afar and 2. He's still got a couple items of his own to sort out..... eventually.]
