Week 4

It finally happened. Someone murdered, and was punished for it. After a particularly grueling trial, one much worse than the games ever were, everyone definitely needed the rest of the weekend to rest up. But now it is Monday once more, and that means it is time to get back to 'work'.

The cameras have moved again, and the contestants will need to be careful where they say what until their new locations have been revealed. In addition to that, the house itself seems to have changed, with its usual colorful appearance suddenly a bit more grey. Even the weather seems to be gloomy, with those storm clouds from last week starting to overcast the area, threatening to drop rain.

Seventeen contestants remain in this game of death. How many more will fall before the game is over? And how many more will be driven to murder?

[ Remember that black and red prinny from Sunday?

Well, it's pacing around the living room. ]

[Akira definitely remembers red and black prinny. He has Suspicions about red and black prinny.

Even aside from those, though, a prinny pacing is slightly concerning.]

[ Wow. There is nothing Suspicious about this prinny. It looks at Akira for a moment before waving one flipper. ]

It's fine, dood!

[ Maybe it didn't realize it was pacing. It looks from Akira to Inaba. ]

Was working on something earlier. Wanna see?

[ SOUNDS FAKE

but her eyes brighten up ]

I definitely do. Show me?

[Hmmmm. [X]. But okay. Akira gives the prinny a curious look at the response he gets.

Working on something, huh?]

Sure.

[ It holds out a sheet of paper, its voice absolutely taking on a 'ta-dah!' tone when it speaks again. ]

Well, what do you think?

[ YIKES IS WHAT SHE THINKS!!!!

but she smiles nevertheless. ]

[ taking it and folding it and pocketing it ]

You did a good job.

[ pats the prinny on the head ]

[Akira will second that yikes, that is not nearly as much green inside the fence as he would like to see.

But he smiles at the prinny, too, something creeping sadly fond and nostalgic at that 'ta-dah!' tone.]

Nice work.

[ The prinny does a pleased kind of waddle before giving its best effort at a nod. It's sounding proud of itself. ]

Thanks, dood! Gonna keep doing my best!

[ It pauses for just a moment, and the most observant will be able to hear some reluctance. ]

Should get back to work, though.

[ she sees that reluctance and, well.

there's just something she's reminded of. ]

Yeah. Keep doing your best on your end. We'll do our best on ours.
