Week 4

It finally happened. Someone murdered, and was punished for it. After a particularly grueling trial, one much worse than the games ever were, everyone definitely needed the rest of the weekend to rest up. But now it is Monday once more, and that means it is time to get back to 'work'.

The cameras have moved again, and the contestants will need to be careful where they say what until their new locations have been revealed. In addition to that, the house itself seems to have changed, with its usual colorful appearance suddenly a bit more grey. Even the weather seems to be gloomy, with those storm clouds from last week starting to overcast the area, threatening to drop rain.

Seventeen contestants remain in this game of death. How many more will fall before the game is over? And how many more will be driven to murder?

[Welp. Perish it is.

Fun fact, part of Akira's forward behavior and shamelessness is a way of keeping control of situations. If he's the one being outrageous, other people are in the reactive role. Suddenly catboy in his lap nuzzling him is not a situation he's in control of.

He actually fucking goes pink.

Akira winds his fingers into Atsushi's hair and tugs a little before rubbing behind his ears.]

Atsushi, watch where you touch!

[While Akira is being "mauled" Ingway will just... sweep off some of the nip into a hand and disappear it somewhere on his person.

[Since she's paying attention she might notice he has no issue sweeping up any shed hair/fur as well.]

[Oh. That’s a cute look on Akira, and Atsushi has a moment to appreciate it before he’s once again catching another trail of the scent and winds up nuzzling his face into the crook of Akira’s neck and collar.

Aaaah... that feels so—]

Mnnngh... feels good.

[The fur on them is soft beneath Akira’s fingers, like a real cat’s might be. Meanwhile, Things Atsushi never realized: the ears were sensitive. No one’s touched them before, and he’d never had a reason to suspect otherwise. Tigers unfortunately can’t purr, but he leans up into the touch nonetheless, going boneless in Akira’s lap.

Could he stay here? That sounded like a Great Idea.]

[Press F to pay respects; Akira's neck is actually kind of sensitive? He makes a little noise as Atsushi nuzzles in there and bites his tongue.

His situation is Not Helped by Atsushi's responses.

Umm... can he maybe use ear scritches to guide the catboy a little away from the neck??]

Man this stuff really does slam right into you, huh...?

[It certainly does, though the severe reaction right now has a lot to do with it being the day before the full moon.

Atsushi is torn. He wants more of that amazing smell, but he also wants more of that hand. It’s a tough decision and he lets out a small, needy noise of his own, and—

Licks Akira’s neck, a long wet and warm swipe of tongue. He’s trying to get a taste of the catnip, he swears. He’ll follow the scritches in a second, at least??]

[Following the scritches in a second is a second too late?!

Mostly because the sound Akira makes when Atsushi licks him is borderline indecent. And he turns bright fucking red. It's hard to tell if it's actual embarrassment or, well... There would literally be only one way to make this worse on him.]

No licking!

[Small, chiding tug on one ear before he goes back to gentle scritches.]

[...Oh. That sound is a nice one, and Atsushi wants to hear it again. He’s almost tempted to try, in fact, but then Akira is tugging on his ear and he lets out a whine of pain.]

Ow, oooow— okay, okay!!

[He can’t quiet remember what he was doing before this, but ‘no licking’ seemed like a good rule. Instead he’ll shift a bit in Akira’s lap, making himself comfortable with his striped tail tucking itself neatly around Akira’s waist, his nose resting on his shoulder as Akira continues with the scritches. Like this, he can easily breathe in the scent of catnip.]

[RIP, Akira. Died because you can't move a cat once it's settled on your lap.

But at least he's behaving now, so Akira continues to rub and scritch the soft ears.

The longer Atsushi spends curled up there reasonably harmlessly, the more Akira relaxes, blush slowly fading. This is fine, right? More like petting a cat that happens to be boy-shaped and less like anything he really doesn't want to have to explain to Goro later.

Aside from the part where Atsushi is cute but look. Akira has been close to plenty of cute people.]

[At some point, Atsushi has got to show Akira that letter. For now though he's content to sit in his lap, tail wrapped around Akira's waist and his expression a little dazed between the catnip scent and the scritches.

He's a little too giddy to doze off, but he certainly looks more relaxed than he's looked in awhile honestly.]

You're so nice...

[Said a little dreamily as he lets his eyes fall closed for a moment.

At least catnip only works for a few minutes at a time. Akira will be free... soon enough, anyway.]
