Week 4

It finally happened. Someone murdered, and was punished for it. After a particularly grueling trial, one much worse than the games ever were, everyone definitely needed the rest of the weekend to rest up. But now it is Monday once more, and that means it is time to get back to 'work'.

The cameras have moved again, and the contestants will need to be careful where they say what until their new locations have been revealed. In addition to that, the house itself seems to have changed, with its usual colorful appearance suddenly a bit more grey. Even the weather seems to be gloomy, with those storm clouds from last week starting to overcast the area, threatening to drop rain.

Seventeen contestants remain in this game of death. How many more will fall before the game is over? And how many more will be driven to murder?

Well, this is just a guess and I could be wrong. . .but out of all of us, you know Atsushi the longest, right?

I honestly don't want to risk it because I might be wrong, but— you're probably the most likely person to not get attacked by Byakko, I think. Since you're basically like a big sister figure to him here.

It should probably be a last resort. But if we need to, I can see what I can do.

[ she smiles back at Saki, in a way that seems regretful, almost bitter for a moment before she shuts it down. ]

We all have different things we can do. If you hadn't spoken up, I wouldn't have even known in the first place.

I've been keeping track of the moon cycles since. . .

That's not true at all. You know so many more things than I ever would have figured out on my own. I'd be in a lot of trouble if it wasn't for you, Inaba-chan.

[ a flush colors her cheeks for a moment before she shakes her head, frowning ]

Maybe I just want to make up for last time.

Even so. You're smart and well prepared, Inaba-chan. Not just for the full moon, either.

[He flushes a little in embarrassment, because... 'Big Sister'.

...He doesn't know if that's what he'd call this. Family was still a concept he had no guidelines for. But it feels right.]

I don't really have proper words for it, but... You feel safe. To both me, and the tiger. We don't really... communicate as such, but I know that to be true. You've always made me feel safe and comforted, especially around the full moon. I know he feels that way too.

[It's - touching, in some ways. Worrying, in others. Goro was like a brother to her too, and look what happened to him.

Still, she'll reach out and pat him on the head, fond even though that concern.]

Hopefully nothing happens, but if it does, we'll all do whatever it takes to make sure no one is hurt.
