Monday comes onto the snowy town once more, though it still looks as if it's 'night' as ever.

Then again, you are underground. That's just to be expected, considering no natural light can get down here in the first place. The Monsters around you are just as friendly as ever, despite this being your fourth 'time' trying this monday.

There doesn't seem to be many Monsters here...or at least, you think there was more before? Huh.

Well, whatever.

You still have a mission - And with three trials under your belt, you're now a little closer to figuring things out.

[After everything, it's pretty clear there's only one thing you can do.]

You manage to spot a loose flyer that come flying at you in the wind. It's for a cooking competition hosted by everyone's favorite sexy box robot, Mettaton! Signups are today, and you're all just in time to get there before the shooting for the show starts, if you hurry - it's at the MTT Resort in Hotland.

You'll have to run all the way there....too bad you didn't go talk to the local Riverperson in Hotland itself.

[ Well, one of the advantages of tending to have a good poker face is that when you're annoyed, you can annoy everyone else by being annoyingly chipper. So even as she's running, she has that big smile on her face like this isn't an issue at all.]

Mettaton's Cooking Contest

[ Once everyone has their tickets and have picked their +1 for the audience, they will be ushered into the Resort. There's red velvet rope blocking them from exploring the rest of the place, but they can catch a peek of an arcade to the right of them and hear a sound check happening on the live stage. There's advertisements for Mettaton's show, the cooking contest, and an upcoming concert this week.

There are signs pointing them out over to the dressing room so they can get ready.

Studio One is where they will be directed towards afterwards. There's a large pantry and refrigerator, an area with stoves and ovens, and then tables set up as their work stations. Every table has a stand mixer, bowls, utensils, a jar of glitter, glue, measuring cups and measuring spoons. Pots, pans, cookie sheets, and other things they may need are located around the kitchen area or in the back.

There's also rows of chairs for their live studio audience. As well as a screen there with the words Ratings over it.

Back at the Inn he can be found with a now-familiar kettle and teacup, and an assortment of tea bags - addressing the little gray spider]

[Today is a.... weird day. After his coversation with Sherlock the night before, Ren has a Plan and also a dress.

It's time to do some experimenting.

If you're out in about you might find him with his hookshot in one of two places: The Waterfall or the Math Hut.. But it might be wise to stay out of the way, as he's not standing around or exploring. In fact, in Waterfall especially, you might get run over as he goes literally zipping by at top speed- seems he's using the hook to literally zoom back and forth from the big open area to the Arena, past the waterfall path, in one very fast and likely dangerous movement. And before he even fully lands he twists around to go the other way.

Thankfully he has his toolbox open nearby with some snacks in it. You know, for when he eventually wretches his arm or slams into a wall. Cuz it's gonna happen.

At the Math Hut though his attempts are slightly less dangerous but of similar design, using the doorframe and a big rock in the path to the Ruins to zip back and forth through the door. Might be worth asking him what he's doing?

Be warned though, if you catch him when NOT zooming you might get:]

[Bright and early this morning, Karen sets out for the Hotland river house. These things have got to be important somehow, right?

Presuming that that doesn't lead to her dying or anything, she heads from there to... well, she approaches the MTT Resort, but balks at the price for the time being. Instead she heads for the arts and crafts area again to update her maps and see how much of the resort she can recreate from memory. (A good amount, as it turns out.)

Eventually she ends up back at Grillby's, lost in thought about recent events as she pokes at a burger.]

Guess we're also going to do some stupid UI investigations because that's just how this all works, apparently. But it's largely a part of plan GET TEMMIE TO COLLEG.

So - time to check the inventory UI first: we're checking how much slots we've got here because we're doing it.

We're going to be duplicating the dog residue until all slots are full.

It is only part one of today's long quest of the day.]

[ Well at some nebulous timing which would be convenient to conduct this (even with one possible prior engagement), Gilgamesh will go looking foe Cinque. Any monsters that stand out in particular here?

[Himeko is absolutely not letting this one go until next week out of the sole fear that by the time the next loop hits, it'll be absolutely forgotten.

It's time to actually trek back into 's house (back in the ruins, specifically, not to be confused with 's house in Waterfall), apologizing internally for barging in, if the door is unlocked. Time to snoop around and look for some stuff. In particular, she is looking for books, although if she does wind up finding something else, she would be okay with that.]

Undyne Meeting

[This was likely going to be their last chance to meet with Undyne before things went wrong. With that in mind, Nanaka (and anyone that wanted to come along) headed into the resort, looking for her. It was time to exchange whatever information they could find about this situation. Perhaps if they shared the information, someone might find something new.]

[So while some folks were Unsure about the gifts, Ren was going for it. Before the concert starts he can be found at the Arcade, playing any shooting games he can find, even if they are likely fewer guns and more based on magic ATTACKs- he is VERY good if you wanna challenge him.
