Well... your existences are, to us in this world, fictional. To me and other "natives" of this world, this is the real world. But that doesn't mean that there's no possibility of us--of this world--being fictional to someone else.

It was on the... well, it wasn't on the island anymore at that point, but it was during that incident. Nirrti-sama said we were all fictional, and we didn't actually exist. At the time I thought she was just referring to how our worlds are fictional here and trying to paint that in a negative light, but...

I would not be surprised if she was referring to this entire world as a whole. In the eyes of someone else, this could easily seem like something they would read in a sci-fi book.
