Monday comes onto the snowy town once more, though it still looks as if it's 'night' as ever.

Then again, you are underground. That's just to be expected, considering no natural light can get down here in the first place. The Monsters around you are just as friendly as ever, despite this being your fourth 'time' trying this monday.

There doesn't seem to be many Monsters here...or at least, you think there was more before? Huh.

Well, whatever.

You still have a mission - And with three trials under your belt, you're now a little closer to figuring things out.

[ ...Gilgamesh had recently developed quite an interest in playing video games.

The fact that there was an arcade also meant that it'd be a good chance for him to indulge. So sometime in between all this...shenaniganary, he was going to try to have some fun.

After all, he was a King who took enjoyment in so many things, and that included doing something simple as playing games. ]

You appear to be enjoying yourself. But are so far without someone to properly go up against you; how do you feel about going a round against the King of Heroes himself?

[ He'll smirk, as his eyes narrowed. ]

...Let's start up the game. Clearly I've to show you that you were wrong to voice an insolent question like that in the first place.

[ He seemed somehow a little more fired up, even if his words were certainly unconventional. All the same, he seemed like he wasn't truly offended, as he took his position at the arcade game; if anything he was excited by the prospect of a challenge, even in a game. ]

[He smirks, pleased that Gilgamesh looks fired up.]

[He gets ready as well, and with a short count down starts the game- and he has reason to be cocky. He's very good. Not just as someone who now uses a firearm as part of his job, but someone who played shooting video games specifically]

...So it seems. But how long will it last?

[ It's interesting that Ren had such a handle over the game.

Admittedly, Gilgamesh performed decently despite being an ancient king. In fact, his aim was almost impeccable.

...Though a shooting video game didn't involve just aiming and firing. He's definitely gotten a bit too careless (hubris was a thing) a couple of times, which prevented him from shooting ahead...no pun intended. ]

Huh, you're better then I expected- it'd be disappointing if you weren't after all that, you know.

[He is actually making Ren work for it, which is enough to make this worth it]

Hmph! This is why you do not underestimate a King. You will find yourself sorely disappointed in the result if you do.

That being said, I suppose there's a reason you seemed so overconfident in the first place...

Playing a game has different priorities. Points, combos. If it was all headshots it'd be different.

You might actually be a better shot than me... but not by much.

I suppose that's simply because there must be variety in all things. Even in a video game like this; without it, it'd be hardly all that interesting.

'Not by much'? I'd say an impudent judgment like that is far too premature. Perhaps you mean to say 'by a landslide', as it could be said.
