[CONTINUE + 3] Week 1 || Act: mingle

Monday comes onto the snowy town once more, though it still looks as if it's 'night' as ever.

Then again, you are underground. That's just to be expected, considering no natural light can get down here in the first place. The Monsters around you are just as friendly as ever, despite this being your fourth 'time' trying this monday.

There doesn't seem to be many Monsters here...or at least, you think there was more before? Huh.

Well, whatever.

You still have a mission - And with three trials under your belt, you're now a little closer to figuring things out.

[ The other studio is set up for a game show. From the signs, it looks like it's another show of Mettaton's ]

[he doubts they would be careless enough to leave any AMAZING PRIZES in the actual studio, but he does give all the signs a quick glance for suspicious Capital Letters real quick]

[ Nothing weird or suspicious about the letters. No prizes either. ]

[boo. Time to go back to the previous screen. Do the doors of the dressing rooms all look plain and uniform, like they're all for guests? Or is there one that could reasonably be the Host's?]

[ All the ones in the area look plain. He can spot MTT's at the end of the small hallway. ]

[ He'll go in... and see a robot. Looks like he arrived while Mettaton was freshening up. ]

OH! YOU MUST BE THE HELP THAT I ASKED FOR. COULD YOU DO ME A FAVOR AND FLIP THE SWITCH ON MY BACK?

[His fur fluffs a bit in surprise, but he recovers quick, putting on his best "nervous intern" voice.]

Right away, Boss!

[ flip!]

[ Suddenly there's smoke surrounding him, and a guitar riff sounding.

Then he'll go from a block, to leggys ]

AH! THAT'S MUCH BETTER. I WILL FRESHEN UP A BIT MORE BEFORE MAKING MY GRAND ENTRANCE. YOU CAN RUN ALONG NOW.

[ Where will he head to next? ]

Whoa...

[well he definitely can't loot the room while MTT is in it- so his first instinct won out in the end. Rope time]

[ That's probably for the best. As he heads back to the rope though, he can hear someone humming a few notes into the mic. The voice... might be familiar to him. ]

[His heart starts racing, and he creeps closer.

Could it be...?]

[ If he's walking into the area, he will find a grand stage set in front of several rows of plush seating. There's advertisements on the walls for a concert this week with a new rising star.

Standing with their back turn is someone dressed in a long yellow robe with their hood up. They are humming into the mic a few notes before giving a nod towards someone off to the side of the stage. Music starts playing...

is he going to listen? ]

[he will, staying hidden for now]

[ The singer will turn their face towards the audience, as the music starts. He will be treated to a performance. ]

[.... I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU JUST REDROLLED ME but also Ren is like... legit kinda enjoying this???

He was so *sure* he heard a voice he knew though. So he will wait. It's kinda hard to not breathy-sing along though, knowing the actual not-a-seal words]

[ While they are moving about on stage to perform, he will get a better look at them. There's a fluffy white collar, and a gray fuzzy face that is definitely seal like.

It's a seal monster singing seal with seal noises ]

[Look he can appreciate a good pun and in the end can't resist clapping.

Like a seal]

[ That gets a startled sound from the singer for a moment. And then they will smile a knowing smile before continuing their performance ]

[Since he's already exposed that he's watching he moves to sit in an actual seat instead to watch the rest]

[ Hopefully he isn't missed during the cooking contest.

Once it's over, the seal will take a bow. Giving a wave before heading towards the side exit of the stairs. ]

[He waits a moment then slips after- even if he misheard the familiar voice he is not heading back until he explores fully. Going back without loot would be shameful for a thief!]

[ He will spot costumes back there for quick changes and some staff running around making sure everything is fine.

The Seal isn't any where to be found though. If he looks around, he will see there is an exit, which leads back out to the hall towards the dressing rooms. ]

[He doesn't want the staff noticing he's not supposed to be there, so he takes the exit, walking confidantly- the more you look like you expect to be allowed the more likely people won't question it, after all.

He curses his lack of his Third Eye but heads towards the dressing rooms- if nothing else he should head back in that direction anyway]

[ Besides MTT's, the dressing room doors all seem to be opened. Doesn't seem like there is anyone down here but the occasional staff cutting through to get the game show ready. ]
