Monday comes onto the snowy town once more, though it still looks as if it's 'night' as ever.

Then again, you are underground. That's just to be expected, considering no natural light can get down here in the first place. The Monsters around you are just as friendly as ever, despite this being your fourth 'time' trying this monday.

There doesn't seem to be many Monsters here...or at least, you think there was more before? Huh.

Well, whatever.

You still have a mission - And with three trials under your belt, you're now a little closer to figuring things out.

Yes - I agree, we can leave that for the hypothetical 'if' we get our abilities back and 'if' we have a better method of accessing our risk.

[He pauses]

This is a strange question, but might I examine your arm?

[She holds out her arm, the back of her hand upwards so he can see the marks there.]

[He nods, and actually removes his gloves before examining the marks, his touch being very light and ginger - while he lost much of his library, he'll summon what he knew about magecraft and aspects of Servants...

What can he discern from the marks?]

[At a closer glance, he will be able to see that they have indeed gone black. But it's way, way more than that. There's patterns in the black that make it look glitched out, like something went wrong with the master-servant connection rather than it being severed entirely.]

The connection is still there... even with his condition...

[Then he clears his throat]

It feels almost like something went wrong with the initial summoning - the way your seals are right now. So it hasn't been severed.

[Then it's not completely hopeless now]

I thought as much. The command seals would just disappear if he were truly gone, wouldn't they?

Yes, some instances of our world, it'd leave scars but it'd be clear if he were truly gone.

It's almost like a glitch in the connection.
