Monday comes onto the snowy town once more, though it still looks as if it's 'night' as ever.

Then again, you are underground. That's just to be expected, considering no natural light can get down here in the first place. The Monsters around you are just as friendly as ever, despite this being your fourth 'time' trying this monday.

There doesn't seem to be many Monsters here...or at least, you think there was more before? Huh.

Well, whatever.

You still have a mission - And with three trials under your belt, you're now a little closer to figuring things out.

Plating and Presentation!

LISTEN UP SWEETHEARTS! OUR SHOW RUNS ON A STRICT DEADLINE SO IT'S TIME TO PLATE YOUR DESSERTS! I WILL GO FRESHEN UP REAL QUICK WHILE YOU DO. YOU HAVE FIVE MINUTES TO MAKE IT MARVELOUS AND TO THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU WILL SAY FOR YOUR PRESENTATIONS!

[On a plate, Sherlock drizzles toffee in square patterns and sprinkles some brown sugar before plating the pies.

To cook faster and to have a neater presentation than a slice the pie crust was divided into small circles with a layer of toffee and pureed banana, topped with piped vanilla cream and caramelized banana slices. All of which is in a golden crust]

. . . this is going to be hard; I think Yachi is basically a shoe-in at this point.

Which means that I'll probably have to switch gears. I have some ideas on how to play things up, but what do you think?

[As feared, when MTT Brand Purin is decanted from his foil mold onto the plate, his legwheel doesn’t survive the move—but that’s fine! A banana and the circular cross cut of a strawberry manage to make up the different lace, and are duly drizzles in the thin caramel sauce. The ghost fruit goo is used to lovely effect: with a folded over wedge of tinfoil as her tool, she drizzles the pale syrup over the top in a tell-take, probably trademarked grid pattern!

More berry slices make up the dials, and she uses what time she has left to make bunches of little tinfoil twist roses, liberally sprinkled with glitter, to pretty up the plate edges here and there.]

W-Well... here it is! I figured nothing could be fancier than you, so I picked something sweet and simple to balance out the aesthetic. I... I hope you like it!

[Now then, having somehow pulled... something out of the oven with the power of SORD and putting it out with some water, it is time for the finishing touches... She moves the flamed former pie to a place, and focuses her soul and...

...Shoots... it...? This is how magic cooking works here, right? And then she places some left over ghost fruit on top because you know what, it's better than nothing.]

...cuts out a slice as if it was just a normal pie, puts a few extra bits of sliced fruit next to it, and sprinkles sugar on top.

It's fine, it's supposed to be like that.

In fact, she'll sprinkle some glitter on it too. See, look, it's pretty.]

[Chuuta assembles his fluffernutter banana split! The banana is split nicely, there are three perfect scoops of vanilla ice cream, all covered with hot marshmallow fluff. Then it's topped with three piles of whipped cream, crumbled toasted peanuts, crumbled bits of instant ramen (salty and crunchy, what every dessert needs), and three cherries on top.

There's also just. Glitter. Not on the dessert itself because who would put plastic glitter on a dessert? Don't put inedible things on food, kids. But the entire tin-foil bowl is covered with glitter on the outside, and there's like.... there are just piles of glitter on the table too. Is this what monsters like? It's what Drew likes.]

[He honestly just crams a bunch of vanilla ice cream + strawberries and bananas into a large clear parfait glass, topping it off with chocolate sauce, whipped cream, glitter glue, and a single snail on top.

[Most of the NPC monster teams have Fuck All for their meals, but Bratty and Catty have some sort of crepe monstrosity. The crepe itself is rather chewy-looking, the strawberries are obviously canned, and it looks like they put marshmallows on it instead of whipped cream?

But regardless, they plate it up and serve it up for everyone to see. Pay no attention to how the crepe flops back open after a few moments of sitting there.]

HERE COMES METTATON

[ That was a long five minutes, huh?

After the time is up, the crew will set up a long table for them to bring their plates and stand there for judging. Do they have their essay about their dessert memorized?

The lights will dim once again, and am light will shine at side of the stage. A long leg will stick out, before a robot comes sauntering into view. A red carpet is rolled across the ground, and flowers are being thrown at his feet. ]

MUCH BETTER, DARLINGS! I HAVE BEEN DYING TO UNVEIL MY NEW FORM.

[ There's cheers from the audience and the ratings spike up. ]

[ Blowing a kiss as he moves to stand before the treats everyone has whipped up. Clapping his hands, and the lights will all come on. ]

A long time ago, a friend of mine made me his favorite sandwich, and we've turned that into a dessert for you today! It's a fluffernutter split! [Chuuta is not a high-energy chipper person this is a struggle. If he could let Drew take over whenever, this might be easier.

He sets down the banana split, spins, and gives double fingerguns and a wink to Mettaton.]

It's almost as unexpected as you!

[With a cloche covering the dish, he twirls forward, leaning forward as he uncovers the dish with a flourish, smiling brightly]

Banoffee pie, as once made by my dear Aunt Doga.

[His ears pinned back slightly]

I wish she were here to see this, and knowing her beloved recipe would be enjoyed by everyone in the Underground. It is a sweet, saucy, decadent pie that remains comfortable and nostalgic with fresh salted toffee, sweet vanilla cream, and caramelized bananas.

I admit sweet as this dish is, it pales in comparison to the sweetness of your voice - and as a Dog-Monster, I do have quite sensitive ears.

[and is if right on cue, Inaba is here with the dramatics! she even swiftly takes out her phone and puts on some mood music as she clears her throat, both of her hands tightly brought to her chest.]

They say beautiful things can come in small packages, and I honestly - truly believe that is true. We have put both our heart and SOUL into creating this wonderful dish... that we have not only our gracious host to thank for this splendid competition, but our wonderful audience as well.

And for that - not only would I like to dedicate this to Aunt Doga...

[She tears up, cracking her lips into a smile.]

... but to my creator, who is long gone from this Earth. And -

To all of you, as none of this would be possible without any of your support. That is why - we'll be aiming for all of your hearts today! Our target is locked on you!

[And she does a pose aimed right at the entire audience, a smile brimming bright.]

There are those who say that robots have no talent. That robots cannot show emotions. That they pale in comparison to others. But! [She turns her heel towards Metaton.] Those people are wrong. Your talent, the way you shine so brightly on this brilliant stage... that is proof that we can show the world things that nobody has ever seen before! That is proof that we, too, are just as amazing as any other type of monster here in the Underground!

It is because of that, that a robot monster such as myself - am able to look up to you as an inspiration, for both all of monsterkind... but especially all of robotkind.

[Mostly because if your pie came out like this you wouldn't try it at all.

This is a flavor that can only be achieved by those unbound by ordinary cooking! Much like how Mettaton-san is so wonderfully unconstrained by the ordinary, as evidenced by this cooking show!

[Okay, Nanaka will... move the mask to her face, so everyone is seeing her as a curtain. She then moves and... Flutters dramatically behind Karen.]

Our Flash Fruit Pie was baked in the flames of the Special MTT Oven! Therefore, you know it's fully cooked! In addition, I've done my best to put a little bit of my soul inside of it.

What I like most about you is how comfortable you are in your bodies. Confidence is an appeal in itself, so long as it doesn't delve into narcissism.

H-Hello! Um... congratulations on the new form! ...th-thank you for letting us be part of your debut!

[This comes alongside a simple pose and a bright smile. Her cheeks are red, but pay no mind to that.]

T... Today, I'm showing off the, um, th-the Meltaton Puri Purin! Um, where I was born, everybody had a soft spot for this soft snack, and, um, well! It seems like down here, absolutely everyone feels that way about Mettaton!

[She musters up her nerve and does a little spin, ending in a new pose... and a wink!]

I, um... I also added in a little homage to somebody I have a softspot for, too; one of the ghosts I love the most. I-I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it!

Okay, first off, we're like, soooooo hyped to be here! MTT Cooking Show is like, the best program on tv, and it's such an honor to even be a part of it!

Our dish today is crepes! We like, made them with strawberries and freshly-made whipped cream.

And crepes normally don't fill us up, yeah? So we made these crepes with extra flour so that you can eat them up and be full!

[And then at the same time, they shout "We love you, Mettaton!"]
