[CONTINUE + 3] Week 1 || Act: mingle

Monday comes onto the snowy town once more, though it still looks as if it's 'night' as ever.
Then again, you are underground. That's just to be expected, considering no natural light can get down here in the first place. The Monsters around you are just as friendly as ever, despite this being your fourth 'time' trying this monday.
There doesn't seem to be many Monsters here...or at least, you think there was more before? Huh.
Well, whatever.
You still have a mission - And with three trials under your belt, you're now a little closer to figuring things out.
...How much longer will this repeat?

investigation...?
Guess we're also going to do some stupid UI investigations because that's just how this all works, apparently. But it's largely a part of plan GET TEMMIE TO COLLEG.
So - time to check the inventory UI first: we're checking how much slots we've got here because we're doing it.
We're going to be duplicating the dog residue until all slots are full.
It is only part one of today's long quest of the day.]

Inaba has ten slots, with slots taken up by any of her items she received while in the underground. She'll only have as much dog residue as she has open slots, unless she puts her other items somewhere.]

But guess it's time to go to the inn and drop some stuff off; mostly putting everything away sans her knife and notebook, which should give her ten slots. Let's get to using this dog residue to make more dog residue and salad to its full capacity!!
Besides, given her plans, it largely should be a nonissue if her inventory gets filled anyway.]

You now have a full inventory of dog residue. it is *incredibly* sticky.
To temmie village?]

Me, in spite of knowing Undertale: no, we're doing the Actual Logical Thing and going to the store in Snowdin first to see if she can sell the stuff there.
Because it's closer.]
no subject
Really, who would? Also, they're not a pawn shop.]
no subject
What about the shop in Hotland?]

hOI!!
[Temmie offers 2g for each dog residue!]
no subject
[Okay but she's not selling ALL the dog residue, you can't duplicate without one. But also can she sell the dog salads that come with each duped dog residue?
Also-
We're probably gonna be here a while.]

[ is he poking fun at you, inaba. perhaps. ]

[Himeko answers with slight hints of sarcasm, laughing awkwardly.]

Oooor we just get an unlimited supply of healing items.
[Because dog salad.]

[ just saying that hurts him a bit. he sighs. ]
Planning to buy something?
no subject
I definitely would at least like the extra cash. Although I'm wondering... we could make our own pie, couldn't we?
no subject
[ he laughs ]
I've never really tried my hand at cooking. Maybe we can do that tomorrow?
no subject
[Himeko humiliated herself rather thoroughly in it - she is literally done in all senses of the word.]
... I can't say I'm a good chef, either. But maybe back in that house - there might be something? A cookbook, maybe?
no subject
[ or publicly humiliate himself, but solomon has a feeling that it would not bode well for anyone. ]
A cookbook...do you think that someone that has done that recipe for a long time would have that? [ he sighs. ] I guess we would have to check the house.
no subject
Do you really think he knows how to cook, though?
[He's a king from ancient times, after all. Which sounds like 'someone else always did the cooking'.]
It's possible - I mean, even if monsters live long, they'd want to pass down the recipe for future generations, right? If it's not in the house though, we can check the library.
no subject
[ he laughs a bit. ]
Well, maybe we'll find it, I think. Even if the memory of them has gone away...there will always be something remaining, right? Something that proves that they existed.
no subject
[But she's not going to disagree.
Her gaze sinks slightly at the idea of nothing actually remaining of their existence, but she tries to smile, pushing past it.]
...yeah. I hope so.
