Monday comes onto the snowy town once more, though it still looks as if it's 'night' as ever.

Then again, you are underground. That's just to be expected, considering no natural light can get down here in the first place. The Monsters around you are just as friendly as ever, despite this being your fourth 'time' trying this monday.

There doesn't seem to be many Monsters here...or at least, you think there was more before? Huh.

Well, whatever.

You still have a mission - And with three trials under your belt, you're now a little closer to figuring things out.

[Sherlock had the same thought, but he's going to take advantage of the hot springs and brought along a small bowl for the spider to fill with the water - to have the warmth without the risk of getting lost.

A sigh escapes as he slips in eyes half-closed]

It literally just means 'hot spring eggs'. Poached eggs over rice with some sauce... ah... Sherlock-san you're making me hungry.

I don't have all the things at once because you'd have to have a hollow leg - [or be an English king] - or be someone that works out in the field all day.

[And not counting the days where he just won't eat like a madman]

Generally, it contains eggs, back bacon, sausage, toast, beans and served with tea or Coffee, some will also add lorne sausages, haggis and - or black pudding. I usually have tattie scones and mushrooms instead of beans and toast.

I've been getting used to Western breakfast but dog damn that's a lot of heavy food- how do you not just go back to sleep!

I eat a much lighter version - nobody really eats all of that at once unless as I said they're doing heavy work all day. During the Victorian era, Breakfast was our big meal of the day.

So for me, it'd be eggs, scones, mushrooms, and rashers - if I felt like eating a full meal. A farmer would likely add Lorne sausage and beans to that.

Eggs with mushrooms sound pretty good, actually. And I have no idea what rashers are.

Does the place it comes from on the pig make a difference?

Undoubtedly. We just simply order them to hand some eggs over. We're their precious 'guests', after all.

[ Crisis averted! He'll just calmly lounge in here for awhile more. ]

[ He'll let out a small sigh of relief himself. It's been hard for him to relax any during these past weeks...

The same as anybody, really. But it was nice having something to help unwind a bit. Doubtless that was going to be ruined soon enough. But. ]

Truthfully, I hadn't anticipated coming across something like this. In a situation like this, the idea of any sort of luxury seemed relatively low, no matter how much I've become accustomed to it.

I suppose some forms of luxury are nigh-universal.

[He stretches, working what tensions had built up in his shoulders and back]

The absence of such things does make it all the better once you're able to actually indulge.

Admittedly even this place has some ways to go before it reaches exactly my standards, but it's luxurious enough that I can recognize its value.

[ Living as a King afforded him quite an extravagant life style and he had easily sustained living a life full of riches even now. ]

Due to that absence for the going on of, what...three weeks now? It truly does make all the more difference when we've the chance to indulge.

Though there's some irony in retrospect. The stakes are higher than they were twenty years ago, but we certainly didn't even have this opportunity for such a respite in the slightest. Therefore we should all do well to treasure this before our circumstances are thrown into chaos once more.
