WEEK 1 - MINGLE

You've found a safe haven from the wind and the snow - yet, perhaps you're not quite out of danger yet. The Resort Staff are odd, but seem harmless - jumping to any whim you might have, if it doesn't make them oddly lock up.
The weather all week is perfect - the perfect temp and snow for plenty of skiing. The firepit in the courtyard is always lit too, with ingredients for smores and hot chocolate always available in the lobby. Though...in the halls, a strange bunch of songs keep playing from the hotel's sound system. Is whoever runs this place a weird cover song enthusiast?
So far, everything seems fine....but there's a weird sense of unease lingering over the Resort as everyone wakes up Monday Morning. Maybe that has something to do with that strange memory that popped in your head when you woke up? Or maybe it's that all of you woke up in the middle of a snowstorm, with no memory of how you got there?
In the end...even though everything should be fine, why does it feel like this is only the prelude to a nightmare...?

THURSDAY

It's worse than Wednesday evening, that's for certain.
Nevertheless, she manages to barely make it to the entrance of the restaurant, before--
Inaba Himeko collapses right there and then.
She's not dead, thankfully, but that most certainly just happened, and she might need some help. ]

Atsushi is probably there stuffing his face, so when he hears a commotion he runs right over to see what's going on.]

If you draw closer, you'll notice that she's hovering over some sort of rudimentary electronic device, its circuit board and wires contained in cardboard in an attempt to shield it from the elements. In one hand, she holds an empty Pringles can aloft, which is attached to something inside the box. In her other hand, she disconnects and reconnects an exposed wire--
Short-short-short, pause. Long, long, long, pause. Short-short-short, pause.
Her eyebrows are furrowed in concentration as she continues this pattern. As you approach, she glances up towards you and says--]
Mind holding onto this for a moment? [Shakes the Pringles can.] My arm is starting to cramp up.

I'm on it!

[Want to ask him why he has sour grapes?
Closed prompt: Yoshi Nanase
Later that day, once he calmed down somewhat, Iwai goes to Yoshi's room and knocks there]
It's about time we do this. You still up to it?
[Iwai really can't wait to get some useful info through this plan. It likely won't be dangerous, but hey, if he's getting Yoshi to do this favor for him, he better be there, just in case things go pear-shaped]
no subject
Oh- the test, right? Sure, let's try it!
[He'll back away so Iwai can enter, dismissing a few holographic screens as he does. Seems he was working on something or another, though it's hard to say just where the screens were coming from.]
So... we should probably start with something big, right?

Staff
Kohaku loathes cooperating with scientists, but he loathes the staff more and he knows the dangers of strange monsters. He knows that sometimes science is the only thing that can save you from being consumed by them wholly until you lose yourself. So rather than sit and wait until they find out what the staff are the hard way... he'd prefer to take action.
Sometimes action means grabbing a staff member as they rush past and pushing them into a hallway corner. Sometimes it means whispering menacingly: ]
Hold very still now.

Does he have an idea of a better way to do this? Yes. Is he going to let this happen anyway? Absolutely.]

and in the afternoon, he can be seen in the lobby with...a hell of a lot of aluminum foil? and it seems he's making something with them too, as he diligently presses them into a bowl shape. or...or is it hat shaped? ]
Hey, I've made some foil hats for everyone. Here, you can take one!
[ yes, he is holding out a tin foil hat. he's making tin foil hats. ]

[She can take a wild guess given. Everything and also Flat's general personality, but Blue Angel has been pretty on-edge given Thursday and the ridiculous and terrible happenings of the day. So poor Flat is getting some of that edge right now, even as she looks critically at his foil hats.
She's totally not wearing one. First of all, they wouldn't even fit over her hair. RIP.]

Today, he can be seen casually drawing... something... on some yellow paper? Then tearing the paper until it vaguely forms the shape of the, uh... the thing??? Whatever the thing is (it's a bee, but, like...??)
After stabbing some holes on the sides, he'll be casually putting that hideous creation over Yoshi's face. He just felt like it. ]
also throughout the day...
[ Mr. Edgy is going to be spending a lot of time sitting alone and writing. He can also be seen looking at someone for a little while, only to go back to writing and pretending he totally wasn't just staring at them (hi, Roxas).
Alternatively, he can be seen poking around in the kitchen area. He doesn't like asking the staff for things and he is kind of hungry. He hasn't exactly experimented with food, and he's feeling curious. ]
sitting alone and writing;
He had to know what Vanitas was writing!
So, the blond gets the wonderful idea of slipping out of the room, and then when he comes back in, his footsteps are featherlike, creeping closer to Vanitas, trying to see if he can get closer from behind so he can see what he was writing. ]
