WEEK 1

You've found a safe haven from the wind and the snow - yet, perhaps you're not quite out of danger yet. The Resort Staff are odd, but seem harmless - jumping to any whim you might have, if it doesn't make them oddly lock up.

The weather all week is perfect - the perfect temp and snow for plenty of skiing. The firepit in the courtyard is always lit too, with ingredients for smores and hot chocolate always available in the lobby. Though...in the halls, a strange bunch of songs keep playing from the hotel's sound system. Is whoever runs this place a weird cover song enthusiast?

So far, everything seems fine....but there's a weird sense of unease lingering over the Resort as everyone wakes up Monday Morning. Maybe that has something to do with that strange memory that popped in your head when you woke up? Or maybe it's that all of you woke up in the middle of a snowstorm, with no memory of how you got there?

In the end...even though everything should be fine, why does it feel like this is only the prelude to a nightmare...?

They will. [ With emphasis. Believe him, he cares very, very little for people messing around with loved ones. Even if they aren't his. ]

Do you have a plan?

Not right now, but if I had to make a plan, it'd be to make harder for 'em to get what they want.

[They want deaths? Then he's going to work so there aren't any deaths -- or if there's any, then catching the culprit isn't too difficult.

But he's only one person. There's only so much he can do]

Hm. A plan I can get behind, but it might not be so easy. We understand their motives far too little.

By the time we understand 'em better they may have progressed too much. If we're gonna get in the way then it has to be done as soon as possible.

[There's time to calculate the moves, but they don't have the time to sit around and take things calmly]

You're right. I fear their wish to end this game when the snow clears was less friendly than it seemed. It's likely a time limit, one we may not want to run into. Not without a plan for dealing with them.

[geckodad]

You don't think they're just gonna let us go once it's spring or whatever, do you?

[He's expecting the worst scenario possible, really]

No. That would be naive.

[ Also expecting worst scenario. Some real pessimists here, huh? ]

Not that we're gonna get a vehicle. Got that Nanase kid to ask for a vehicle just to test what the staff would give. Got a kid's ride.

[Small snowmobile. It worked, apparently, but it was to small for even Yoshi to ride]

We're gonna have to get out of here by foot or getting our own vehicles somehow.

A vehicle is only one of the many things we need. There is a barrier around us, we'll need to find a way to get past it.

A barrier?
