WEEK 1

You've found a safe haven from the wind and the snow - yet, perhaps you're not quite out of danger yet. The Resort Staff are odd, but seem harmless - jumping to any whim you might have, if it doesn't make them oddly lock up.

The weather all week is perfect - the perfect temp and snow for plenty of skiing. The firepit in the courtyard is always lit too, with ingredients for smores and hot chocolate always available in the lobby. Though...in the halls, a strange bunch of songs keep playing from the hotel's sound system. Is whoever runs this place a weird cover song enthusiast?

So far, everything seems fine....but there's a weird sense of unease lingering over the Resort as everyone wakes up Monday Morning. Maybe that has something to do with that strange memory that popped in your head when you woke up? Or maybe it's that all of you woke up in the middle of a snowstorm, with no memory of how you got there?

In the end...even though everything should be fine, why does it feel like this is only the prelude to a nightmare...?

[As he crawls, he'll find himself halfway through the fleshy bits before a noise alerts him that the woman is in the vents as well.

And as he keeps moving, it's a battle between them both - she begins to slowly catch up, cleaver somehow still in hand, that ever present smile on her face even as the vent turns back into metal and a bright light shines in front of him-!




And just like that, Akira Kurusu falls the fuck out of the vent and back into the lobby]

[Why are y'all just doing so much today. Yoshi's getting exhausted just watching you all.]

[BUT IS HE SAFE???]

[he tucks and rolls his landing, popping back onto his feet in an instant as he whirls on his heel to face the vent, combat dagger clenched tightly in red-gloved hands. his coat swirls with him when he moves, because I mean. still dressed as Joker]

[and he waits, to see if the macrophage will tumble out of the vent after him]

[She appears in the vent opening, blinking at everyone there. She then looks back at Akira, as if comprehending something.

Turning on her walkie-talkie (where did that even come from???), she says something in a completely incomprehensible language, and then waves at everyone before disappearing back into the vent.

When she's gone, a new vent cover grows back over the opening.]

[. . . it's only after she disappears that Akira relaxes, arm falling loosely at his side. he spends a few more seconds staring at the vent opening, before--]

[That was something between a shriek and a yelp and also she just flat out yeeted the water bottle she was drinking from straight up at the vent.

It doesn’t actually reach the vent but Akira might want to duck I am Sorry. Today has already been A Day between this guy and Szayel and not-really-people-bits and she is So Done.]

[Ripley is here now because of the commotion and, well, there's a large crowd gathered here now. She's been listening to everyone else speak, gathering what's happened. After a few minutes, she says in a flat tone--]
