WEEK 1

You've found a safe haven from the wind and the snow - yet, perhaps you're not quite out of danger yet. The Resort Staff are odd, but seem harmless - jumping to any whim you might have, if it doesn't make them oddly lock up.

The weather all week is perfect - the perfect temp and snow for plenty of skiing. The firepit in the courtyard is always lit too, with ingredients for smores and hot chocolate always available in the lobby. Though...in the halls, a strange bunch of songs keep playing from the hotel's sound system. Is whoever runs this place a weird cover song enthusiast?

So far, everything seems fine....but there's a weird sense of unease lingering over the Resort as everyone wakes up Monday Morning. Maybe that has something to do with that strange memory that popped in your head when you woke up? Or maybe it's that all of you woke up in the middle of a snowstorm, with no memory of how you got there?

In the end...even though everything should be fine, why does it feel like this is only the prelude to a nightmare...?

[ Waving it in the air. What does a little bit mean? ]

Hmm. So it's like a one-sided communicator?

[Ripley nods.] Basically. The radio waves bounce around in the can and get amplified as a result. I don't have any way to receive any incoming signals, yet...but I'll see what I can rig up with some more time. I just thought it was more important to get a signal out there.

Hmm. So it's like a big antenna? Would it help if we put it up some where very high?

[ Don't let her help with that ]

That's why I'm on the ski slope, but I don't think it's high enough....

[Casts a glance towards Cinque.]

You think you can help me with that?

Do you think it will survive getting hit super super hard?

[ She'll open up her other hand and hold it low to the ground. There's a quick flash of light and soon there's a crunch as a mace appears in her hand, the head hitting the snow hard. ]

Woah, woah, woah!!!

[Ripley instantly puts her arms up, trying to protect her all too fragile device from the reach of the mace. How the hell did she do that?! Whatever, it doesn't matter. She worked really hard on this thing!]

Let's maybe wait before we start breaking out the heavy weapons? Please? Besides, it needs someone to operate to send out a signal!

Oh haha. Okay! [ Just going make the mace vanish again. Bye. ]

Hmm. Maybe I can try climbing up the ski lift.

[ That seems safe and a lot of fun ]

Uh. That might not be the best idea, given it's probably icy and you won't be able to catch yourself if you fall.

[She's not...explicitly saying no, though....]

Hmm. Yeah, that could be an issue. And falling would be really painful.
