WEEK 1

You've found a safe haven from the wind and the snow - yet, perhaps you're not quite out of danger yet. The Resort Staff are odd, but seem harmless - jumping to any whim you might have, if it doesn't make them oddly lock up.

The weather all week is perfect - the perfect temp and snow for plenty of skiing. The firepit in the courtyard is always lit too, with ingredients for smores and hot chocolate always available in the lobby. Though...in the halls, a strange bunch of songs keep playing from the hotel's sound system. Is whoever runs this place a weird cover song enthusiast?

So far, everything seems fine....but there's a weird sense of unease lingering over the Resort as everyone wakes up Monday Morning. Maybe that has something to do with that strange memory that popped in your head when you woke up? Or maybe it's that all of you woke up in the middle of a snowstorm, with no memory of how you got there?

In the end...even though everything should be fine, why does it feel like this is only the prelude to a nightmare...?

You try a lot of the things you see in movies?

Well, once I tried to teach Trimm how to act like the Terminator...and I've also summoned a monster from a video game because it reminded me of my friend. And, and I joined the Grail War because I wanted to see the Grail that even Godzilla had gone after!

And Napoleon, and Gobbles..also Shi Huangdi and Oda Nobunaga! All of those important people looked for the Grail-- I just had to see it for myself!

The Grail?

That kind of thing exists?

Well--

[ he pauses, thinking about it for a long time until-- ]

I don't know.

You don't know? And you went looking for it anyway?

Well, my Professor dismantled it, so technically I don't know if it's real still. But a new war started, so that means that there must be another Grail somewhere! And I really really wanna see it!

A new war?

[Bear with him it takes him a while to put things together.]

Over the Holy Grail, huh...who's involved?

[escardos]

Uh...well I don't really know all of the ones participating but so far I know there's a policeman and a child involved! Also possibly a vampire? [ he shrugs ] And we're currently trying to stop the girl involved...but I'm pretty sure there's more than that.

[The vampire comment is easily shrugged off. There's more bisexuals in wars than people would account for. Other Foxhound-ers had joked about Miller being a vampire, and Snake didn't quite get why they laughed at him for making that connection.

Besides, there were far more significant members of this war.]

A child?! Is that the kid you're trying to stop from getting involved?

Yep. Her servant is really dangerous, but she's comatose and can't control them, so we're trying to do that for them.

[ he shrugs ]

It's turning out really difficult though.

Comatose?

[That sounds like...one hell of a situation.]

What kind of army are you involved with, kid?

[escardos]

Army?

[ he tilts his head ]

None? Oh, unless you count the chief officer I allied myself with? He has a group of police officers that are also mages, but they're not something I would call an army. But I guess, since they're mages, then they'd be as powerful as one, wouldn't they?

A private war, huh? Explains the colorful cast.

[You don't have a floating telepath in bondage gear though. Step it up, Fate.]

I don't know about mages, but just handful of people can have the full force of an army.
