WEEK 1

You've found a safe haven from the wind and the snow - yet, perhaps you're not quite out of danger yet. The Resort Staff are odd, but seem harmless - jumping to any whim you might have, if it doesn't make them oddly lock up.

The weather all week is perfect - the perfect temp and snow for plenty of skiing. The firepit in the courtyard is always lit too, with ingredients for smores and hot chocolate always available in the lobby. Though...in the halls, a strange bunch of songs keep playing from the hotel's sound system. Is whoever runs this place a weird cover song enthusiast?

So far, everything seems fine....but there's a weird sense of unease lingering over the Resort as everyone wakes up Monday Morning. Maybe that has something to do with that strange memory that popped in your head when you woke up? Or maybe it's that all of you woke up in the middle of a snowstorm, with no memory of how you got there?

In the end...even though everything should be fine, why does it feel like this is only the prelude to a nightmare...?

[What's up, Akira? You look alarmed. Found anything of use in those vents? Iwai wants to hear details!]

[starts once at the sound of Iwai's voice, but he's quick to give him the short version]

. . . I think the resort is alive.

[geckodad]

[For a moment Iwai actually stares at Akira, as if he expected that to be more of Akira's usual sass.

Soon it sinks in it isn't]

...I dunno how to take this info.

[What's he supposed to do now. The resort is possibly alive. How's one supposed to deal with that, he wonders]

[l-laughs, but it's breathless and wry]

Take it for what it is. I don't think there's anything we can do with it now, anyway.

[geckodad]

[It's so stressful to think something so weird is going on. Goodness, what did they all get into now...]

You in any danger? Think they're gonna pursue you more later?

[Because you know too much or something like that?]

[purrtagonist]

Mmm.

[glances back at the vent, shifting from foot to foot]

. . . no, I think I'm okay. She retreated as soon as I returned to this section of the resort.

[geckodad]

Make sure you lock your room tonight. If you see anythin' dangerous you better run.

[When you see something you shouldn't have, they don't leave you alone, that's what Iwai thinks. That's how it was done in the yakuza, after all. He's sure they're going to watch Akira like hawks, at the very least]
