WEEK 1

You've found a safe haven from the wind and the snow - yet, perhaps you're not quite out of danger yet. The Resort Staff are odd, but seem harmless - jumping to any whim you might have, if it doesn't make them oddly lock up.

The weather all week is perfect - the perfect temp and snow for plenty of skiing. The firepit in the courtyard is always lit too, with ingredients for smores and hot chocolate always available in the lobby. Though...in the halls, a strange bunch of songs keep playing from the hotel's sound system. Is whoever runs this place a weird cover song enthusiast?

So far, everything seems fine....but there's a weird sense of unease lingering over the Resort as everyone wakes up Monday Morning. Maybe that has something to do with that strange memory that popped in your head when you woke up? Or maybe it's that all of you woke up in the middle of a snowstorm, with no memory of how you got there?

In the end...even though everything should be fine, why does it feel like this is only the prelude to a nightmare...?

[There's some kind of fuss over here, and Yoshi trots over curiously to see--

Ah.]

I think she probably collapsed from no sleep.

[blutsauger]

What? [Medic frowns down at Inaba.] Why hasn't she been sleeping?

[At least that narrows down all the possible causes. He sighs.]

Where's her room? I'll carry her back to it.

[justonezero]

[...MMMMM.]

Stress?

[Stress is probably mostly right!]

The tablet says it's room 121. Do you think there's anything that can help her sleep more if she still has trouble with it?

[He will follow along!]

I have some mild sedatives in my room, but it's possible that now that her body has actually made her fall asleep, she'll stay asleep for a while. Still- I'll get some to her room so she can use them in the future. Archimedes? [Archimedes pecks at Medic's ear at that- he's still a little worn out from the stethoscope. Still, though, he obediently flies off. Medic stands, carrying Inaba in his arms without any real trouble, and starts heading off in the direction of her room.]

Thank you, sir!

[He's like a duckling trotting after.]

Maybe we can ask for medicine from the staff, too?

Already did so a few days ago! I have a fairly good stock of medical supplies in my room- most of them for more concerning emergencies than this one. [Aaaand there's her room! Medic's hands are a little full with A Human Being, though. He's just gonna try to shoulder her to one arm so he can free his other hand to turn the knob.]

Ahaha! They're really convenient, huh?

[He can help push the door properly open if Medic needs it though?]

Convenient to the point of being concerning, yes.

[Nah, he's got it. Once the door's open, he brings her to her bed and just kinda. Plops her down.]

I'll probably stay here for a while to monitor her- I believe you that her reason for falling unconscious was lack of sleep, but I want to make sure there's no other complications that arise.

I didn't notice anything else weird about her body last night when I took a look. If you want, I can check again.

[He's a little worried, himself...]

[blutsauger]

Check...? Oh, right, the numbers thing. [Medic vaguely remembers hearing something about that.] Sure, go ahead. It can't hurt, ja?

[justonezero]

[Time to get a read on her vitals, if he can!]

[ Besides being exhausted as all heck, Inaba's mostly fine! ]

[justonezero]

[And after a couple seconds:]

Yup! Just exhaustion!

[blutsauger]

[Archimedes returns right about then, with a small bottle of sleep medication that he drops on the bedside table.

And now it's time to wait, and see how she's doing when she wakes up.]

[ And eventually she does stir, but it's a bit of a jerk up on her bed as she puts a hand on her head because she's--

And then she glances around and realizes that oh.

She's not alone in her room. ]

. . . hi?

[justonezero]

[Ah, there she goes.]

You collapsed from exhaustion.

[And then, pointing to Medic helpfully.]

He can tell you more, though.

[dereban]

Ah, great.

[ You can hear the sarcasm in her voice as she leans against her pillow. ]

How long was I out?

[blutsauger]

Oh, good afternoon.

[Medic's been chilling in a chair off to the side, reading a book he got from staff. Archimedes flies over to Inaba and just. Perches on the side of the bed. Hello.]

It's around 2pm, I believe.
