WEEK 1

You've found a safe haven from the wind and the snow - yet, perhaps you're not quite out of danger yet. The Resort Staff are odd, but seem harmless - jumping to any whim you might have, if it doesn't make them oddly lock up.

The weather all week is perfect - the perfect temp and snow for plenty of skiing. The firepit in the courtyard is always lit too, with ingredients for smores and hot chocolate always available in the lobby. Though...in the halls, a strange bunch of songs keep playing from the hotel's sound system. Is whoever runs this place a weird cover song enthusiast?

So far, everything seems fine....but there's a weird sense of unease lingering over the Resort as everyone wakes up Monday Morning. Maybe that has something to do with that strange memory that popped in your head when you woke up? Or maybe it's that all of you woke up in the middle of a snowstorm, with no memory of how you got there?

In the end...even though everything should be fine, why does it feel like this is only the prelude to a nightmare...?

Today isn't that day, but it is the day that marks three days of no more than a couple hours of sleep a night. Put simply, he's too tired for this shit. ]

Yet the "should" there doesn't change any facts.

He never asked anyone, and he hasn't been paying enough attention to whenever/if ever people said her name around him. ]

Yup yup! It's Cinque.

[ She holds up all five fingers on her hand to indicate five. ]

So you just change it up, at random?

[ The way it sounds, he means. He looks to her hand. ]

Yup! Sometimes I'm Cinquito the Great. Other times it's just Cinque or Cinquey.

[ Hey it's fun to change it up. ]

Five is what it means.

[ Because what is this "fun" you speak of. ]

[ That's all it comes down to. But at the question of language, Cinque can only offer a shrug. ]

I'm not sure which. Maybe someone here will know.

[ He cocks his head to the side a bit, and then glances away ]

There are enough people here from different worlds.

Yeah! It's really cool. Everyone keeps talking about wanting to travel!

Traveling between worlds is pretty nice.

[ Not that he... really appreciated it before getting stuck here, but whatever. ]

The best...? That has him thinking for a moment, and then he shakes his head. ]

Can't say. I never spent much time exploring.

[ He is quiet for a moment, and it might seem, at first, like that's all he's going to be saying... ]

I had a job to do, so I mainly focused on it.

Well, if you could pick one of the worlds to go back to explore, what world would it be?

There's one that had a lot of races going on in the area I appeared in. I wouldn't mind giving those races a try.
