Intro log: Welcome to The Resort!

Before you even open your eyes, you can tell something is not right. It's cold. Not quite unbearably so, but cold enough that you can take notice of it. And as soon as you open your eyes, you will be able to see why it's so cold: you're in the middle of a snowy forest, with only a single two-lane road cutting through the thick trees.
Unfortunately, you seem to be without transportation. Fortunately, you are wearing warm clothes and snow gear, so freezing isn't an immediate problem. But without transportation, you're in for a long walk ahead of you.
There are others around as well. Other people, just as lost and confused as you are. Everyone seems to be lacking any memory that might explain why everyone is here. As far as anyone knows, all of you were just ripped out of your previous lives and dumped here on this snowy road, wearing snow gear and having any items that are important to you already on hand. And for some of you, you even have a new power, one that you somehow instantly know how to use...
Two ways to go: forward and back. Despite having no indication of which way is the 'right' way, you feel drawn towards one direction in particular. Going 'back' is possible, but you get the feeling that you will be even more lost if you try. And given that you have no food or water on you, it's best to keep moving forward.
So, are you ready to walk? Because you have a long road ahead of you.
((Welcome to The Resort! Your characters will have any objects or animals with them that they should have given their canon point, but are dressed in cold weather clothing.
This prompt is just the first part of the intro log. New top-levels will go up over the course of the weekend as everyone progresses from 'where the hell am I?' to the resort proper, and to getting settled in. For now, just start with this prompt. We'll link further updates here for easy access.))

PROFILE PARADE
[If you walk into the lobby at some point later in the day, you'll likely see Blue Angel in her full cotton candy glory planted by one of the tables next to the fireplace, all a-glow with firelight and the brightness of everything else about her. She's doing her best to be eyecatching, which is basically what her all of her is for. Stop and listen?
First of all, she's going to place her tablet down on the nearest table and slap her hand down on it, in case everything else wasn't enough.]
I think we've all had time to look at our tablets by now. There's profiles of everyone. I don't really understand everything in them, and I'm sure I'm not alone, but that's not the important thing!
This isn't a normal hotel. I'm sure you've all realized that. But on top of that, they know things they shouldn't, and they're broadcasting all of it. Who do they think they are? No matter where we are, that can't be legal!
[There's a pause, and then a small 'hmph!' where she crosses her arms.]
... I don't care what my profile says. If I have something to hide, it's for safety and privacy. That's just common sense. I don't usually answer unscheduled questions, but if you have a problem with that, then I might make an exception. Just this once.
no subject
...huh. Interesting.]
Why so much blue?
no subject
[She doesn't hesitate or mince words, like this is something she's answered before, many times.]
It's a design from when I was younger, but it has a lot of sentimental value. In my line of work, being eyecatching is a good thing; it helps you create a brand. Anything else?
[Yeah, she definitely just rattled all of that off in one go.]

[Though Minato's definitely made a few faces at his own profile when he was going through them.]
It wouldn't be fair to expect that from you. Or anyone here, really.
no subject
Prying questions aren't anything I haven't dealt with before. That's just the way things are in this getup. But thank you anyway.
[She's contemplating the rest of the people in the room after that, and nods after a moment.]
Of course not everyone will be used to their privacy being invaded. But I wanted to address it anyway.

Looks between it and Garbo-Trash(?) several times, before delicately raising one eyebrow.]
You're okay with the name listed on your profile? It does say Garbo-Trash, you know.

[ Inaba's here with her arms folded, lips forming a thin line as she tries her best not to look too concerned. ]
I won't ask people about their profiles to make things fair since I'm not really fond of sharing some of the information on mine, and for good reason.
no subject
[It's almost a grumble, at odds with her bold declarations a few moments ago, but Blue Angel, real name Aoi, now that everything's all out in the open, isn't much more pleased by her profile than the rest of them. Despite all her posturing.
She's taking the problem by the horns, but she doesn't have to like it.]
But I'm glad some of us have a sense of fairness and minding their own business.
[There's a tilt of her head and a bit of a smile to soften that, even if it's not aimed at Inaba herself.]

They somehow got their hands on my ship's recording log. How else would they get the info on my profile?
[Not going to comment on the robot thing, though. Then, she remembers something and pulls a folded piece of paper out of her pocket. She continues in a steady voice.]
I found this while searching the restaurant. Says something about how the people here tend to disappear. Of course, that doesn't mean anything--we'll need to get more information before we start jumping to conclusions.
no subject
[She's definitely skimmed through most, if not all the profiles, though she's taking the people who are openly discussing theirs as permission to look more in-depth; only the aliens are really eyebrow-raising, because lately she's a lot more sympathetic to the people who have issues with A.I.
Though, when it comes down to it, she's also not entirely sure the staff aren't A.I. There's something about them working in a place like this and acting like that...]
... No, we shouldn't jump to conclusions, but there's -- this is the kind of place where I wouldn't be surprised, if people disappear.
[She does reach out to check out the paper for herself, pressing her lips together.]
