Intro log: Welcome to The Resort!

Before you even open your eyes, you can tell something is not right. It's cold. Not quite unbearably so, but cold enough that you can take notice of it. And as soon as you open your eyes, you will be able to see why it's so cold: you're in the middle of a snowy forest, with only a single two-lane road cutting through the thick trees.
Unfortunately, you seem to be without transportation. Fortunately, you are wearing warm clothes and snow gear, so freezing isn't an immediate problem. But without transportation, you're in for a long walk ahead of you.
There are others around as well. Other people, just as lost and confused as you are. Everyone seems to be lacking any memory that might explain why everyone is here. As far as anyone knows, all of you were just ripped out of your previous lives and dumped here on this snowy road, wearing snow gear and having any items that are important to you already on hand. And for some of you, you even have a new power, one that you somehow instantly know how to use...
Two ways to go: forward and back. Despite having no indication of which way is the 'right' way, you feel drawn towards one direction in particular. Going 'back' is possible, but you get the feeling that you will be even more lost if you try. And given that you have no food or water on you, it's best to keep moving forward.
So, are you ready to walk? Because you have a long road ahead of you.
((Welcome to The Resort! Your characters will have any objects or animals with them that they should have given their canon point, but are dressed in cold weather clothing.
This prompt is just the first part of the intro log. New top-levels will go up over the course of the weekend as everyone progresses from 'where the hell am I?' to the resort proper, and to getting settled in. For now, just start with this prompt. We'll link further updates here for easy access.))

And just. Looks for a long time at some of those "likes".
Hm. ]

Hey hey.
no subject
Yes?
[ That is a pretty cute stuffed animal. ]
no subject
[ It's the cutest. Also where's Chuchu? ]
no subject
[ She'll offer to hand it over; she's still really not that interested in reading these herself.
And Chu-Chu was off taking a nap earlier, but he might be back any second now...!! ]
no subject
[ They can trade! She'll offer over the moogle as she takes the tablet. Let's check it out. ]
Whoa. They really do have everyone.
no subject
It seems so.
[ Which is all very curious, but more importantly, this moogle. ]
Does it have a name?
no subject
[ Beaming a smile. ]
Sataling thinks they look like a clown.
[ Frowning at that. ITS RUDE ]
no subject
[ Man, her school doesn't even have class rabbits... though she personally keeps cows and chickens and stuff there on the grounds anyway, so. She can't really complain. ]
Hm... It's probably the nose.
no subject
[ She still loves Moglin! ]
Buttercup! That's cute.
no subject
Thank you.
[ Not like she can really take credit for what other people arbitrarily choose to call her, but what else is she supposed to say to that. ]
I really only grow roses, though, so I'm not sure how they settled on this particular flower.
no subject
[ Whoops. She covers her own mouth. And then quieter... ]
You can grow roses?
no subject
Whispers... back??? ]
Yes, I have a rose garden I tend to at school.

She's not really looking closely at individual reactions to start off, because she's opened the floor for questions directed at her already, but eventually the silence from this end gets a little loud. She'll glance over while still acting nonchalant.]
... Is there something wrong? You've been staring at that for a while.
[None of the profiles really merit all that much contemplation considering length, unless Anthy's staring at her own. So the question isn't really as prying as it could have been.]
no subject
Ah, sorry, sorry. I must have gotten lost in thought.
They really do seem to know a lot, don't they?
no subject
There's a lot to think about, just on the tablet. Not only do they know a lot, but they want us all to know it, too. They really don't understand that a girl's gotta have some secrets.
[Some girls more than others, really.]

no subject
Oh-- There are always secrets. That's how people work, right? But you see, someone who works in entertainment needs to keep some specific secrets, just to keep an air of mystery and all.
no subject
[ Oh, so you actually have a reason for dressing like that. ]
no subject
[Anthy, you're from the 90s, are you really judging fashion.]
no subject
[ Yes. ]
no subject
What about you? And Chu-Chu?
[Gotta include the monkey-rat-dog-something-creature.]

[ But she can predict that that's probably not going to be a satisfactory answer, so. ]
When I was around eleven, maybe?
He's always been a very good friend.
