RECORDING 13: THE FIFTH WEEK.
A fifth week in this place begins, with less of your number among you. It's practically routine at this point, isn't it?
Routine, also is the feeling when you wake up - it's clear the Miasma has gotten even thicker. Now everyone is at level 4 - barring the two 'lucky' negators among you, you are all suffering the effects, your eyes flashing a deep, dark purple when experiencing negative emotion.
Any magic that touches the house itself will corrode over time, just like last week. If a barrier is put in place and touches the floor, walls, or ceiling, in a few hours it will be completely consumed by the miasma and fizzle out. Spells or seals will also give off miasma, and healing is still reduced to even the most powerful of spells only healing minor injuries.
You will not be able to save a grievously injured person from death through spells anymore.
The Temperature has taken another dip. It's now in the 50's, and nippy to need a layer or two. As before, the rooms have changed, so hopefully you kept anything essential in the static area.

Please arrive in the living room within the next ten minutes.
[The polite, calm speech is accompanied by the click of his shoes against the hardwood floor as he travels from room to room, rapping on each door before giving his announcement. After he has cycled through each door, he relocates himself to the living room, where he waits for everyone to arrive.
He waits patiently for the ten minutes to pass, letting people congregate in the room. With 2 minutes to go, living characters will feel the driving need to show up, like failing to make a deadline presented by a boss would be disastrous. Still Ango says nothing, focusing instead on the papers in his hand as he gives them a final check-over. It is only when the ten minutes has fully passed that he finally starts to speak.]
I will keep this meeting brief, as there is much work to be done yet.
I will be serving as the Vessel this week. I will allow all of you to continue using my given name if you so please, but I will also respond to 'Sakaguchi-san' if you prefer. I expect all of you to work as diligently as ever and complete your mission here.
Death is no excuse for laziness, after all.
[It is at that point he will hand out a schedule to everyone. It has everyone's day micro-managed down to the half-hour.]
These are the schedules you will be expected to follow. You will also be required to wear your Foundation-issued uniforms from 8 am to 8 pm every day, excluding bathing times and if an injury prevents you from wearing part of your uniform. Being out of uniform or deviating from the schedule or without an acceptable excuse for doing so will count as an infraction against you.
Additionally, if you are disrespectful to myself or any of the other ghosts, we can issue an infraction against you. If you fail to complete your daily duties, we can issue an infraction against you. Outside of official Vessel-run meetings, if you are caught in groups of eight or more we will issue an infraction against all present.
All infractions will be punished by either nonlethal force or by sharing secrets you would rather keep hidden. I caution you against testing me on this.
[He pauses for a moment, considering something. Then he speaks again.]
Ah, right. Battler-kun. Since he is unable to take punishment, a different person each day will be responsible for him. If he earns an infraction, you will take the punishment. For Monday, that will be Marona. I will pick another person at midnight each day and alert them to their new duties.
For our final order of business: you all have been killing rather spectacularly, but I feel like the group left will need some more motivation.
[He snaps his fingers, and suddenly a ghostly clock appears on one of the walls. It reads "99:99:99".]
When this timer runs out, I will start killing each of you, one-by-one. The only way to stop the timer is by having a living person kill another living person in this house.

From now on, characters will start losing their sense of direction, and they will more easily lose track of objects, possessions, and other people. They might end up walking into the wrong room, the wrong bedroom, find themselves somehow in the same room they just left, lose track of their breakfast on the way to the dining room, lose a shoe at random, get separated from someone they were just speaking with, and so on.
These effects will start out low-key, but will amplify throughout the week. Characters may have native resistances as determined by their players; anyone with powers (so, everyone) will have some degree of resistance to the effects.
Also, the word lose and all of its variations (loss, to be lost, losing, etc.) will appear d̴͙̽i̴͓̎s̵͓͛ť̸̼ó̷̫r̵͕͠t̶͓̏e̶̪͐d̷̲͐ whenever it is written or read this week!]
I think you can take a guess at what that means. You may want to be more diligent about your explorations this week; it's advisable to find the source of this before it's too late.

and ruins everyone's day, romani had already started the day off badly.in his case, it was a sharp, piercing pain which woke him up, as if someone were digging into his wound. so maybe whoever is in or near room 1 can hear him screaming awake. but as soon as it comes it also disappears, leaving only the same constant throbbing of his injury.
he looks pale. however, it's not exactly just out of pain. it looks....horrified, actually.
throughout the day, romani seems to be...trying to follow the schedule as well as he can. being unable to explore means that he can catch up on whatever paperwork he has, although to be honest it's not that much.
he can be seen writing on his notebook as well, though his expression is far more sullen--lost, even--as he does so. at least his writing still looks neat--maybe he's left-handed? ]

Much like the routine she had before her death, Flayn wanders through the hallways aimlessly peeking in rooms, although this time she's intently watching people as they go about their days.
Later in the day, she's in the conservatory specifically, playing with the chess pieces and...falling asleep on the table? She looks asleep. Sounds asleep.

When he's forced to wake up along with everyone else, it's...incredibly hard. It feels like there's a jackhammer in his skull and cramps in his stomach, and oddly enough, all he can think about is 'if this is what it feels like to have a migraine, no wonder it effects Aunt Natsuhi so badly.'
Still, he doesn't want anyone to suffer because of him...even if he feels like crap the entire time - especially since it's no longer Marona, but his own Aunt keeping watch today...
So people can easily find him In the dining room during 'exploration/work' hours, though it looks like he's constantly having a hard time focusing, stopping to press a hand to his forehead and starting writing again. Gotta look like you're busy to care for the bureaucratic overlord that rules them, right?
Though when it's not worktime, he tries to check out the new areas - Pausing at the tool shed and pool, though he doesn't stay long in it due to the smell. Of course, he eventually ends up opening the door to the Conservatory - and immediately going pale, shutting it as fast as possible before giving an overwhelmed laugh.
Finally, he'll be in room 6 in the later hours, though he won't really be doing anything productive. Still, he won't turn down anyone wanting to talk to him...it's a needed distraction from everything else.]

Regardless, Hikage is taking the relative peace after yesterday's multiple announcements to check out the new rooms when he can (he'll be adhering to the schedule though), not investigating but at least seeing what's in each room. He's also less colorful than usual, what with his rainbow ensemble not fitting Foundation dresscode. Find him in the conservatory looking at the chessboard and possibly squinting at the remains of the tea set that's likely still there, and later at the pool with some uninvited commentary. ]
The smell is just as unpleasant, as always. [ And if you're a certain sage king, he'll be seeking you out for some not so idle chit chat. Feel free to wildcard too! ]

During exploration time, she carefully makes her way to the Master Bedroom where she'll sit herself on the bed and look at the rest of the room from there. This is still technically exploration, she is learning new things about the environment!

We know that Agent Turner had considered classifying this as a Keter-type skip, however we may be dealing with something greater than that. If it manages to continue on its path without being contained then it is extremely likely that this may be something that will threaten to destroy all of humanity.
