RECORDING 13: THE FIFTH WEEK.

A fifth week in this place begins, with less of your number among you. It's practically routine at this point, isn't it?

Routine, also is the feeling when you wake up - it's clear the Miasma has gotten even thicker. Now everyone is at level 4 - barring the two 'lucky' negators among you, you are all suffering the effects, your eyes flashing a deep, dark purple when experiencing negative emotion.

Any magic that touches the house itself will corrode over time, just like last week. If a barrier is put in place and touches the floor, walls, or ceiling, in a few hours it will be completely consumed by the miasma and fizzle out. Spells or seals will also give off miasma, and healing is still reduced to even the most powerful of spells only healing minor injuries.

You will not be able to save a grievously injured person from death through spells anymore.

The Temperature has taken another dip. It's now in the 50's, and nippy to need a layer or two. As before, the rooms have changed, so hopefully you kept anything essential in the static area.

The fake spider is now five times bigger. She gives her back legs and awkward little shimmy dance, the rest still braced against the side of the music box.]

[ As she does her dance, she can see black things moving towards her. They stand out against the furnishings and the flooring, despite it being dark. It looks like there are actual spiders in the room and they are almost floating-

no crawling across webs that now span across the entire floor of the room. ]

[ The box is closed, and the lights remain out. The spiders are still heading towards her.

There also seems to be something dripping from the webbing itself. Hm. ]

[ The light flickers back on, but they seem to be dim now. It will help her see the colorless vapor coming off the webs. How well does she remember Shower Number 2?

The spiders are almost upon her now. What is she going to do? ]

Osamu get away from the door! C-Cover your mouth and nose!

[She's going to shift from a spider to a compact paper airplane, abandoning those fake, stuck legs for a smooth, downward glide towards the door.]

[ She needs to be careful cause there's webs on the floor and in front of the door ]

[She's going to aim to hit the door itself, then turn into a sticky gecko toy and flip flop her way up to the top...

If that manages to succeed, she'll turn into a playing card and try to shimmy through the seam at the top of the door.]

[ Just sticky and smacking sound all the way up the door.

She can succeed! As she shimmies her way out through the door, she will hear a few notes playing slowly from the music box again before the room is completely dark.

She's out of the room! ]

[She flutters to the ground, zooms the the opposite side of the hallway, and keeps far, far away from the other people.]

O-Osamu, I need somebody to get me a bowl of water, and I n-need, somebody needs to get the duct tape f-from under my bed. A-As soon as possible.

T... take really good ones. That substance... I-I think it's what melted everybody outside. It looked like something from the sh-showers—and th-that stuff decimated a sheet almost instantly on c-contact...

[Team effort and all. She's careful to keep the tip of the blade behind her as she runs along to the bathroom! There's going to be a bit of finagling to turn on the water in the sink and then get the tip of the blade in there for Hitoka to wash herself off, but she's been through worse messes this week already.]
