A fifth week in this place begins, with less of your number among you. It's practically routine at this point, isn't it?

Routine, also is the feeling when you wake up - it's clear the Miasma has gotten even thicker. Now everyone is at level 4 - barring the two 'lucky' negators among you, you are all suffering the effects, your eyes flashing a deep, dark purple when experiencing negative emotion.

Any magic that touches the house itself will corrode over time, just like last week. If a barrier is put in place and touches the floor, walls, or ceiling, in a few hours it will be completely consumed by the miasma and fizzle out. Spells or seals will also give off miasma, and healing is still reduced to even the most powerful of spells only healing minor injuries.

You will not be able to save a grievously injured person from death through spells anymore.

The Temperature has taken another dip. It's now in the 50's, and nippy to need a layer or two. As before, the rooms have changed, so hopefully you kept anything essential in the static area.

First off, let me know what you already know. Wouldn't want to waste our time rehashing information when our lives are on a timer here.

All possible means of communication into the house have been cut off. No signs of disturbance on the outside. This has been our first point-of-contact since day one.

So what have you guys been doing this whole time? Sitting outside and watching?

We assumed as C-class agents you all could handle yourselves. Are you saying you need help?

This ended up being a far bigger deal than we were ever told about in the briefings. More than a third of us are already dead, and we're on a countdown for more. Any kind of assistance would be appreciated.

Sorry about that. I will try and explain things as succinctly as possible. The flower delivery seemed to go as planned at first, but only the 29 flowers meant for the inside made it. The ones for the scenery were dead on arrival. We quickly discovered some peach blossoms, but the main thing to note is the phlox inside here, which has been steadily growing out of control as time goes on. While we managed to find the tulip by the second week, the phlox had already overtaken it. Thus far we have lost 12 flowers to the phlox. We believe the phlox may descend from some variant of spiderwort.

Tell me honestly. How much hope do you have that this call will work?

Honestly, it is hard to say. Still, letting the Foundation know what is happening in here should at least make them more likely to be able to put together countermeasures. At the very least, whatever they do next should have a higher chance of success.

Even if we are not, it is worth a try. After all, if we all have different codes, that should mean that any one person being compromised does not necessarily compromise the mission.

In the first place, why do you believe this is a trap?
