RECORDING 13: THE FIFTH WEEK.

A fifth week in this place begins, with less of your number among you. It's practically routine at this point, isn't it?
Routine, also is the feeling when you wake up - it's clear the Miasma has gotten even thicker. Now everyone is at level 4 - barring the two 'lucky' negators among you, you are all suffering the effects, your eyes flashing a deep, dark purple when experiencing negative emotion.
Any magic that touches the house itself will corrode over time, just like last week. If a barrier is put in place and touches the floor, walls, or ceiling, in a few hours it will be completely consumed by the miasma and fizzle out. Spells or seals will also give off miasma, and healing is still reduced to even the most powerful of spells only healing minor injuries.
You will not be able to save a grievously injured person from death through spells anymore.
The Temperature has taken another dip. It's now in the 50's, and nippy to need a layer or two. As before, the rooms have changed, so hopefully you kept anything essential in the static area.
17 of your number still remain.
...What new horrors await you this week?

I'm just doing my part. That's what it means to work on a team, isn't it?

Naturally. And of course just by making myself present and discussing such 'work', you can consider it part of teamwork as well.
[ Actually that's going to come a little later when he went monster hunting but you know ]

[Deadpan.]

That might not be a good idea. We might summon someone troublesome.

You've no need for concern; I merely make these words in a light jest.
I'm not in the mood to entertain unwanted company, after all.

[She's just. Bad at this joking thing.]
How have you been doing in all of this, Sir Gilgamesh?
no subject
[ Well, he won't be bothered by it nonetheless ]
If I were to say 'well', you and I would know it to be a lie. But, saying 'poorly' wouldn't exactly be the truth either. For that term, I'll leave it to our ghosts.
At this time 'good enough' will do just fine for me. Naturally, I'll ask the same of you.

[But then again she was often stiffed in her own world anyway, so that's nothing new.]

[ That's unreasonable. But also their situation was unreasonable...he was also not used to not being paid as he should be, given. Y'know. King. ]

[ Even if it's well-known people could be stingy with money. ]

[Sometimes it be like that.]
