RECORDING 13: THE FIFTH WEEK.

A fifth week in this place begins, with less of your number among you. It's practically routine at this point, isn't it?
Routine, also is the feeling when you wake up - it's clear the Miasma has gotten even thicker. Now everyone is at level 4 - barring the two 'lucky' negators among you, you are all suffering the effects, your eyes flashing a deep, dark purple when experiencing negative emotion.
Any magic that touches the house itself will corrode over time, just like last week. If a barrier is put in place and touches the floor, walls, or ceiling, in a few hours it will be completely consumed by the miasma and fizzle out. Spells or seals will also give off miasma, and healing is still reduced to even the most powerful of spells only healing minor injuries.
You will not be able to save a grievously injured person from death through spells anymore.
The Temperature has taken another dip. It's now in the 50's, and nippy to need a layer or two. As before, the rooms have changed, so hopefully you kept anything essential in the static area.
17 of your number still remain.
...What new horrors await you this week?

There's no point in arguing over this, the decision was made several days ago. My point was that we didn't have a plan until very recently, and we're staking an awful lot on something that's likely a last ditch effort. It's far from something concrete and while it's better than nothing, we shouldn't just accept that it's our only choice.

[ Because really. ]
So far we have two last-ditch plans as a thought, but we obviously haven't brought together a cohesive attack plan.
Naturally that seems to be because it's been assumed that we would wait until we reached the source of all this since it's been discussed as a weakpoint. However the truth of the matter is that we've lost a bulk of those capable of fighting in the first place. And as time goes on, we'll continue to lose more unless we act soon.
Even with that in mind, we haven't thought of what we would do if we've come upon the source in the first place. We should start seriously speaking on that and then come up an alternate attack plan.

[ So at the least they know where their magicians were. ]
Every other person doesn't seem to possess the aptitude as far as I know. We've those skilled in normal combat, and of course we must consider that our 'nullifiers' would be able to provide a good effect against our enemy.
It's possible just simply attempting to overwhelm our opponent could prove to be an effective strategy.
[ But he'd rather bounce around some ideas... ]
You stated your ability could only work on people, so if we needed to pass on sensitive information without the enemy knowing, that could be one way it may help, despite its invasive nature.

Yeah, if we can get our nullifiers access to the core of the miasma, they theoretically might be able to disable it. [ Very theoretically but worth a shot. And hey it's not like they're gonna be down to one nullifier in a few days right? ]
...that could work. It's hard to practice it here, but I can do my best to refine it if needed.
