RECORDING 13: THE FIFTH WEEK.

A fifth week in this place begins, with less of your number among you. It's practically routine at this point, isn't it?
Routine, also is the feeling when you wake up - it's clear the Miasma has gotten even thicker. Now everyone is at level 4 - barring the two 'lucky' negators among you, you are all suffering the effects, your eyes flashing a deep, dark purple when experiencing negative emotion.
Any magic that touches the house itself will corrode over time, just like last week. If a barrier is put in place and touches the floor, walls, or ceiling, in a few hours it will be completely consumed by the miasma and fizzle out. Spells or seals will also give off miasma, and healing is still reduced to even the most powerful of spells only healing minor injuries.
You will not be able to save a grievously injured person from death through spells anymore.
The Temperature has taken another dip. It's now in the 50's, and nippy to need a layer or two. As before, the rooms have changed, so hopefully you kept anything essential in the static area.
17 of your number still remain.
...What new horrors await you this week?

[He blinks, not expecting that - before hesitantly reaching out to place a hand on her shoulder.]
...Are you okay?

...But there's no way she can write fast enough to encompass that laundry list of complaints.
So after a few moments of her body heaving with sobs, she'll just write to Battler:
"I'm fine. I'm just glad you're safe and well."]

Aunt Rosa only cares about herselfeveryone is having issues, and the question was more rote than anything.Still, he lets her get it out and doesn't pester farther, nodding with that strained smile.]
I'm glad you're safe too, Aunt Rosa. So...
[He reaches out, hesitantly, to touch her shoulder.]
Let's just...focus on getting through today, alright?

...
[Teeth near chattering from fear, she starts to write again:
"Time now is for eating... I can only eat soup, but you can have whatever you like."]

[The Rations don't really seem appealing, and not chewing when his head
feels like it's going to goddamn explodehurts sounds like a much better option. Maybe there'd be something light on the stomach, just in case he gets nauseated later...And ignore his Aunt's fear, for now.]
I just wish it wasn't so early...But, I guess we'll just have to live with it. Right?
no subject
She writes:
"We just have to find Soup Man then... I'm sorry it's so early."]
no subject
[At least, it's better than sitting around here and apologizing to each other.]

[...AND LATER, when they're talking while eating or in free time, Rosa will try writing something new:
"Battler...
Is our death at Rokkenjima really inevitable?
Isn't it possible for any of us to survive?
I've thought it over, and... no matter what the witch showed you, there must have been some 'real' way things happened, right...? Maybe, maybe in that version, everything was fine...?"]
