Week 3, Saturday
This time, when everyone files into the studio, they aren't escorted to their seats. Instead, they are sent to podiums up on the stage arrange in a semi-circle. Everyone can see each other, and everyone is also visible to the cameras. Off to stage right is a jury box with 12 prinnies in it, all in various states of 'fancy dress'. One is wearing a suit top, another a blouse, one a huge Colonial-era wig. To stage left at box 0 is Dazai's seat, where he will be spending most of the trial, but he will get up to move around at times. And in the very center is a picture of Aqua. Once everyone is in their spots, one of the prinnies will hit a gavel against the podium in front of it, signaling the start of the trial.
It's time to find Aqua's killer.

EDIT: voting link

Trial start + questions for Dazai
Starting from this moment, you will have six hours to go over the evidence and figure out the killer. When you feel you have found the killer, select the answer on your podium. Whoever has the most votes at the end of the trial will be deemed responsible and executed.
Take care with your votes! The trial will immediately end if everybody votes, so don't vote until you are sure of your answer. And if you do not vote, a vote will be chosen randomly for you.
[On the podium screen is a list of 25 names: all contestants, plus 'Dazai Osamu'. Since they can only select names from the list, there is no way to vote for anything else.]
I am here to clarify anything as need be, but the trial will depend on all of you. Do your best, everyone.

Okay, so a few questions:
1. What happens in the event of a tie? Does the answer get randomized between the two of them?
2. What happens if someone is scapegoated? Do we know that they were a scapegoat? Are we told who the real killer is? Or will that part remain a mystery?

FIRST CATHERD IG
We're looking at either a single killer or a single killer with an accomplice here, based on two things: the first being the location of where her body was found and the second being due to the bloody drag marks. I'm personally leaning towards the latter over the former for several reasons, but let's go straight to the facts first-
First: the body was dragged from the kitchen through the dining room and onto the deck - Ellie said that based on the way the trail looked, she was probably already dead at that point.
Which means that the kitchen was the scene of the crime. Aqua drank tea that was filled with antifreeze - specifically a good amount of a can of it but less than half that myself and Nora found in the garage. For those who aren't aware: antifeeze is generally used to raise the boiling point of engine coolant to prevent from overheating. Like in cars, primarily. It's also a rather slow acting poison, so the likelihood of the culprit being someone who misconstrued it as a quick acting poison is very likely. If either Vanitas or Atsushi can explain the state of the kitchen - since I don't think either of you guys mentioned too much besides the tea being antifreeze, I'd appreciate it.
Anyway, as for the rest of the stuff: the trampoline was moved, but there weren't any marks to show that movement. Both this and the fact that Aqua's body was found on the roof show signs that either the killer knows some sort of telekinesis ability, flight, and-slash-or can lift things easily with no issue. Oda also mentioned that there was a small pool of blood on the deck.
Aqua was found on the roof - specifically the roof gutter and was bloody from the chest up. She had one wound in her chest, but the entrance wound was much wider in the front than in the back, implying that she was potentially stabbed with two weapons - the real murder weapon, probably a sword or knife, and then the pool noodle itself. Also apparently the pool noodle had ice that was caused by magic as well, which could either have been done by the culprit or their potential accomplice.
And I think that's it? Am I missing anything?

I think that's about it.
Further Kitchen Stuff
There were two cups of tea, but the second cup was still full. There was also a vial of the anti-freeze in the trash and a cloth that looked like it cleaned the blood off from a blade. There was a cast-off blood pattern in the kitchen. Likely from the sword.

VERDICT
It seems the vote is a landslide in Sandalphon's favor, which I'm sure comes as no surprise to anyone here. There's also a vote for Nora as well, though. How interesting.
[Dazai snaps his fingers, and suddenly Sandalphon will find himself chained to his podium. The prinnies also waddle up on stage and start clearing off the set.]
Everyone else, say your goodbyes and head back to your audience seats. The execution will begin momentarily.

EXECUTION: Ahead of the Game
The stage is suddenly filled with a brilliant light, so bright that everyone watching might not even see the moment those chains break. Dazai himself as to look away and shield his face, lest he go blind from it all. And now that he's free, Sandalphon won't let this opportunity go to waste. He immediately draws his sword, the very sword used to kill Aqua just one day prior, and lunges right at Dazai.
It could have ended in that moment. Indeed, it looks like it might. Dazai may have a powerful ability on his side, but there's only so much he can do if he can't see, and it is sheer luck that saves him this time. Instead of hitting him and running through his midsection, the sword clips off of the gun tucked under Dazai's coat and glances off of him entirely. It also presses the gun into Dazai's gut painfully, which draws a gasp from him.
That gun is drawn immediately afterwards, and Dazai shoots blindly at the figure that goes right past him. Most of the shots miss, but one manages to hit home in Sandalphon's wing. Letting out a pained grunt, Sandalphon stumbles to the stage, though he's not down entirely. His wings may be damaged, but his legs still work just fine, and he has a fight to finish.
The two square off for a little bit. Sandalphon swings at Dazai, and Dazai dodges around it or uses the side of his gun to send the attack away from him. Interestingly, despite Dazai's appearances, he has the moves of a somewhat-capable fighter. He's keeping up with Sandalphon for the moment, though a prolonged battle will not end in his favor. His own actions grow more desperate with each attack Sandalphon throws at him. Sandalphon is the greater-skilled warrior here, and Dazai needs to end this quickly if he's going to survive it.
Sandalphon rushes at Dazai once more. This time, however, Dazai is ready for him. He squares up, gun held up in front of him, and watches Sandalphon's movements. He's no fool, he won't try to block Sandalphon directly, but rather he drops low and ducks under the blade as it goes sailing past, failing to hit its mark a second time. He'll also stick his leg out, tripping Sandalphon and nullifying his abilities at the same time. This time Sandalphon falls, dropping his sword.
A sword which is hastily picked up by Dazai, once he tosses his gun off to the side.]
Sorry, I'll be using this for a moment.
[From the way he holds it, it's clear that this is not Dazai's preferred weapon. But he will make due with what he has. Sandalphon is starting to recover, after all, and he is already up on his knees.
What Dazai lacks in skill he makes up for in power, though. He steps, turns, and swings the sword down in one long arc. A clean swipe, one that takes Sandalphon's head off right at the neck. Though it takes him a moment to collapse, the truth is very clear: Sandalphon is dead.
For a moment, Dazai just stands there, staring down at the lifeless body that has fallen at his feet. Then, he looks up to the contestants in front of him, his one visible eye full of an indescribable emotion. It seems to reflect the blood he just spilled on stage.
The sword shakes slightly in his trembling hand.]
The trial is over. Go back to the house and rest up, the prinnies will clean up here.
[And with that, he tosses the sword aside and walks off stage, ignoring any words or reactions from the contestants.]
