Week 3, Saturday

This time, when everyone files into the studio, they aren't escorted to their seats. Instead, they are sent to podiums up on the stage arrange in a semi-circle. Everyone can see each other, and everyone is also visible to the cameras. Off to stage right is a jury box with 12 prinnies in it, all in various states of 'fancy dress'. One is wearing a suit top, another a blouse, one a huge Colonial-era wig. To stage left at box 0 is Dazai's seat, where he will be spending most of the trial, but he will get up to move around at times. And in the very center is a picture of Aqua. Once everyone is in their spots, one of the prinnies will hit a gavel against the podium in front of it, signaling the start of the trial.

It's time to find Aqua's killer.

Well then, let's talk this through: there would be easier ways to hide the antifreeze taste. Such as cream or honey. Tea is also usually poured at a lower temperature than coffee, though it depends on the type of leaves.

I think it might be more likely that they were trying to hide the antifreeze if aqua didn’t cooperate, but if she did... possibly someone who didn’t know much about tea, yes.

...You might be onto something there - Coffee does require higher temperatures than tea to properly brew.

...That being said, it's also possible That our killer was merely just not a tea drinker in general.

If that's the case, the two I'd think about here in particular would be Akira and Sandalphon.

Not to mention that I saw him in the garage requesting the House for vehicles - specifically cars, too. Which antifreeze is used for.

...I've been thinking about learning to brew tea, but I haven't actually tried yet. So no, I'm not very good.

I wouldn't count on any ingested poison as a fast or reliable way to handle someone, though. I know too much about the human body for that.

Either option is likely. If they were not versed in making tea, then it requires some fortune for them to choose a poison that perfectly covers up their mistake.

Not exactly - Antifreeze smells quite sweet. No one would bat an eye at a sweet smelling tea, after all.
