Week 3, Saturday

[foundationmods]

This time, when everyone files into the studio, they aren't escorted to their seats. Instead, they are sent to podiums up on the stage arrange in a semi-circle. Everyone can see each other, and everyone is also visible to the cameras. Off to stage right is a jury box with 12 prinnies in it, all in various states of 'fancy dress'. One is wearing a suit top, another a blouse, one a huge Colonial-era wig. To stage left at box 0 is Dazai's seat, where he will be spending most of the trial, but he will get up to move around at times. And in the very center is a picture of Aqua. Once everyone is in their spots, one of the prinnies will hit a gavel against the podium in front of it, signaling the start of the trial.

It's time to find Aqua's killer.

Ugh... the house dumped so many swords on us... and who knows how many people can just summon them out of thin air.

I mean, I can't, and I'm pretty sure you can't. Don't know about some other people, though...

The only weapon I can summon is my coffin, for the record. My cane was taken from me as the game began - I assume having more than one weapon I could summon on command was deemed a bit much.

This whole thing is a pain in the ass. Why the hell are we the ones havin' to do all of this, anyway...

[He's probably just salty that once again this is nowhere near anything he's good at.]

...Though I must admit I'm not particularly pleased to be playing the role of a detective.

If it was our fuckin' responsibility to see it through then DAZAI wouldn't be the one doing the execution.

[So yeah, maybe he is mildly in favor of letting Vanitas stab?? Or just generally salty about the state of the trial. Possibly both.]

And what, you don't like mysteries or something?

I am James Moriarty, the criminal rival to Sherlock Holmes, the famous consulting detective. Of course I don't like having to solve a murder when I'm most known for plotting them!

[Loud grouchy noise because like. Does he look like somebody who likes following rules, ever. Also, does he look like somebody who reads, at all.]

I've heard of Sherlock Holmes but that's it. He's just some ancient guy with a pipe and bad clothes. [shrug] But man, that explains a lot.

Whatever, shouldn't you be GOOD at figuring out murders after plotting 'em???

I could, probably, if I practiced... but I've never had a reason to.

Yeah, well, practice is a pain but you should still at least figure that part out, what's the point of having crazy floating hedgehog powers if you can't cut things properly.
