Week 3, Saturday

This time, when everyone files into the studio, they aren't escorted to their seats. Instead, they are sent to podiums up on the stage arrange in a semi-circle. Everyone can see each other, and everyone is also visible to the cameras. Off to stage right is a jury box with 12 prinnies in it, all in various states of 'fancy dress'. One is wearing a suit top, another a blouse, one a huge Colonial-era wig. To stage left at box 0 is Dazai's seat, where he will be spending most of the trial, but he will get up to move around at times. And in the very center is a picture of Aqua. Once everyone is in their spots, one of the prinnies will hit a gavel against the podium in front of it, signaling the start of the trial.

It's time to find Aqua's killer.

He didn't do the kill. He's just letting people jump to that conclusion all on their own.

That's what I've been thinking from the beginning.

What I'm guessing is that. . . he tampered with the crime scene after the fact.

Exactly- why would he use a sword? And Alcor can barely WALK let alone drag anyone.

Here is my theory: Sandalphon is our actual killer. He had no intention of hiding the body, or if he did, he was interrupted- if he had, surely he would have disposed of the drinks and cleaned the blood? As he dragged the body away he placed her on the porch. This is why there was a second puddle. Long enough to talk to someone. Her heart by then would have stopped, so the flow would be sluggish.

Everything else from there was to confuse. Not to hide the crime, but to test our ability.

The North Star. It's located almost directly above Earth's north pole, so it's useful for navigation.

Ah, the navigation star. We had a similar one in Erion. The shining light, guiding the way home.

Would you like to? I wasn't fond of it at first, but even after returning to human form I found it more practical for some things.
