Week 3, Saturday

This time, when everyone files into the studio, they aren't escorted to their seats. Instead, they are sent to podiums up on the stage arrange in a semi-circle. Everyone can see each other, and everyone is also visible to the cameras. Off to stage right is a jury box with 12 prinnies in it, all in various states of 'fancy dress'. One is wearing a suit top, another a blouse, one a huge Colonial-era wig. To stage left at box 0 is Dazai's seat, where he will be spending most of the trial, but he will get up to move around at times. And in the very center is a picture of Aqua. Once everyone is in their spots, one of the prinnies will hit a gavel against the podium in front of it, signaling the start of the trial.

It's time to find Aqua's killer.

Definitely. The trampoline was somehow moved without leaving drag marks, too. So they’d either have to be strong enough to carry it over their head, or with psychic abilities, or something.

So she was probably unconscious already when they killed her.

Cantus is the only power I have that separates me from humans in this world, and I don't think I could use it to carry so much at once.

Maybe it’s to trick us. Or maybe they... didn’t work alone?

Wait... so it could have been planned by multiple people?

I don’t know. Maybe. It’s not an uncommon thing for two or more people to work together to bring someone down. Especially if Aqua is as strong as people said.

Then... what would their roles have been?

Probably... one person was responsible for taking Aqua’s life and the other helped hide the body.

[ he grimaces. ]

This is all hypothetical, though. I could be wrong.

The person who killed her dragged her outside and then the accomplice was the one who carried her onto the roof?

...Maybe, yeah.

[ he sighs. ]

You guys said she drank the antifreeze tea, right? It just didn’t kill her like the culprit thought it would so they chose to go with plan b.

Yeah.

I think the culprit is someone who didn't know what the antifreeze did. So that would at least rule out myself and Ingway. Ingway because he's familiar with chemicals and would have probably went with something different and myself since I actually spoke a little bit on antifreeze yesterday.

Maybe they didn't want to hit themselves on the ceiling 'cause they killed her inside??

...I have not juggled a deceased individual. But I have almost hit the ceiling when indoors before.

Yeah. Because if the person that killed her didn’t have the ability to use some sort of psychic power, then it doesn’t really help us narrow it down at all.

Yeah, it doesn't. It just raises more questions.
