WEEK 3 MINGLE

Week three opens like the other two weeks, but when you wake up, you know there's been a change in the area. At first, nothing is wrong - but when you look at any window, you aren't greeted with the cheery sight of the outside - instead, there's just a cold, harsh blackness. Trying to leave out the doors is impossible, too - if you try, you just find yourself back on the couches in the lobby. On top of that....The Staff are beginning to act even stranger, their glitching out becoming more obvious. Sometimes, they seemingly go blank mid sentence and walk away, as if they were reset, and slur or stutter their words.
The weather is...well, non-existent, except for the courtyard, which is still pleasantly snowy. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.
On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. Yet, it doesn't seem like you're any closer to solving this...
And time still ticks onwards, regardless if you're ready or not.

Right... Whatever you say.
[ He's going to be crumbling up the fortune before casually tossing it aside. Anyone is free to pick it up and read it... if they want. It's apparently funny...? And he won't be stopping whoever chooses to. In any case...
The rest of his day will be spent up on the second floor; he'll be hanging out in the greenhouse and in the soft room... where he can be found napping in a corner. Then, over in the arcade, it would seem he's determined to get better at some of these games. They will not defeat him...
... And then night comes. It's around the time he usually goes to bed, he can be found coming right back out of Roxas' room. He looks... uncomfortable.
But, the second anyone gives him anything resembling a concerned look, he's just shaking his head. ]
I'm fine.

JIGSAW OVER
The sound of chains rattling echo in the area, and as you whip your heads around trying to find where it's coming from, the puppy appears and gives a happy bark.
When you look back at the completed puzzle - you'll find it has been completely destroyed.]

Wow thanks. I feel like they're conspiring against me to give me everything as shitty as possible in this place. The universe is already doing a great job anyway.
[Phil continues to go about his day but he's just... talking out loud to himself about any weird thing. For example, in the Kitchen he just starts speaking to anyone who comes in]
You know if they hadn't tortured me with cake I'm pretty sure I would be sick of them anyway because of how much I've eaten sweets these past few years.
Believe me, if I wasn't in a time loop I would have the worst diabetes right now.
[Eventually he's in the restaurant area, laying on one of the chairs.
Then, completely unprompted:]
I'm pretty sure the only reason why I'm still alive right now is because no one cares about me enough to kill me.
kitchen
It's only a few hours later that it occurs to her that she needs to get food, which prompts her to wander into the kitchen. And...that's when she sees Phil. She stops for a second, staring at him.]
That's...good to know? [Crumbs on his shirt collar. Hm.] Did you eat a fortune cookie?

[Tsumugi doesn't seem phased by his sudden unprompted statement. She just tilts her head slightly in curiosity.]
A low presence is important to survival in a game like this.

Thursday Meet up Meeting
Also Ryoga probably should be be arranging meetings as he was ten minutes late, least he brought hot cocoa for everyone? Though it's a bit lukewarm by now]
Sorry about that! But - here's something to drink.
[He soon takes his position, arms folded over his chest, breathing in before he speaks]
Okay, since it's about that time, I think we should figure out who we want to stay with, or where we plan to be during the night. And let's make sure everyone's on the same page.

GUYS GUYS GUYS WE FOUND A LETTER AND INFORMATION AND STUFF!!
i think 34 wrote it, the letter says:
[And then a washtub falls and clonks an invisible person on the head in the lobby. Ow.
Okay. After he recovers from that, he starts typing again:]
...nevermind!!! uhh let's try this.
whoever wrote it assumed that i found it because of my... math-eyes? it was hidden under the nue's blanket nest so i noticed it with my eyes. they used a lot of stars and music notes and stuff in their letter, kind of like a girl? and they kept calling themselves cute and beautiful and things like that. they called themselves 34 and joked about saying there's ten tonnes of gold hidden and giving us a riddle to solve to find it, or whatever, but i think they were just being silly.
they also said the game isn't important because it doesn't matter who wins, what matters is who survives. so we should think about that, because they aren't an easy hint system like some english gentleman who gives you answers for a puzzle by slipping him a few coins
i really don't know why they go off on tangents like that but they seem very cheerful! aaaand that's all we got!

When it doesn't, he carefully slides the book back into place before continuing his quest. Minerva is dutifully following him around the room.
Whenever he's finished with the library, he heads to the soft room. Truly a popular spot today, isn't it? He looks pretty out of place decked out in his dark armor (and don't look at him, okay, some of the pillows were always ripped. It isn't the fault of the sharp bits on his armor) and... honestly, looks really uncomfortable no matter where he sits. He moves around the room trying to find a spot that suits him only to end up on the floor reading a book.
minerva is with him, but she's resting under a pile of blankets. ]

Once that task is done, Tsumugi can be found surrounded by several light novels in the Library.]
Ahh...! I'm so glad..! I was worried the staff might be the kind of people who don't consider light novels real literature...!
[Her opinion of them continues to go up.
Once she's gotten through a few light novels, Tsumugi hits the gym. Or... her hair does at least. She appears to be testing how much her hair can possibly lift at once. If it appears to be straining, she puts down the weight and coos to her 'hair', stroking it.]
You did well, sweeties.
[ The 'hair' appears to wiggle happily in appreciation. Tsumugi doesn't appear to recognize anyone else is in the room with her. She's talking to her hair almost like it's alive...
Even later in the day, it looks like Tsumugi has found the Otamatones. She appears to be amusing herself by trying to play various anime theme songs on it. She's currently finishing up a rendition of a Cruel Angel's Thesis.]

THURSDAY EVENING INFODUMP
We know more about the Outsider now, and what sort of man he was. I-- would rather not share how we got this information, but Akira and Minato can vouch that what i'm saying is true.
We know what he looks like, that he at least speaks some Spanish, if not more, and that he was part of multiple militia groups, one that he founded after his home was nearly destroyed by robots.
[she folds her arms.]
And that once he decides on a course of action, he won't stop.
