WEEK 3

Week three opens like the other two weeks, but when you wake up, you know there's been a change in the area. At first, nothing is wrong - but when you look at any window, you aren't greeted with the cheery sight of the outside - instead, there's just a cold, harsh blackness. Trying to leave out the doors is impossible, too - if you try, you just find yourself back on the couches in the lobby. On top of that....The Staff are beginning to act even stranger, their glitching out becoming more obvious. Sometimes, they seemingly go blank mid sentence and walk away, as if they were reset, and slur or stutter their words.

The weather is...well, non-existent, except for the courtyard, which is still pleasantly snowy. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. Yet, it doesn't seem like you're any closer to solving this...

And time still ticks onwards, regardless if you're ready or not.

[ He doesn't look pleased to hear that (surprise... except not) ]

Really...? So, he's a self-righteous and cruel jerk.

[ Not doing this specifically for the evulz, but because he thinks he's in the right...which one would be worse? ]

He's an asshole, there's no doubt about that. But his core desires, what lies right here-- [thunks his hand over his heart]

That isn't bad. Somewhere along the way, he lost sight of himself.

...How do you know that what he really wants - wanted - isn't bad?

[ Before he'd lost sight of himself? Roxas is hesitant in believing in such a thing, but...he knows Akira wouldn't say such a thing lightly, so he's willing to listen. ]

[purrtagonist]

[presses his palm flat against his chest, expression turning determined]

Because I saw them. His desires. What they were before, and what they are now.

[13thpromise]

[ There's a moment of silence as he's considering the words given to him, and there's a moment where he closes his eyes and then he reopens them. ]

...So, you also think that there's still hope for this guy too, right?

[purrtagonist]

[sharply]

He's and asshole, and he deserves to pay for the people he hurt. Especially Ichigo.

[. . .]

[a bit more quietly]

But I don't think he's a lost cause.

Yeah, he does. He deserves to pay for what he did, tenfold.

[ Roxas isn't a very forgiving person. That much is true, so it is kind of a relief to hear Akira say that, even if he's not exactly happy that he thinks that this guy can be saved. At the very least he's not going to be all ready to forgive this "Outsider" either. ]

...I'm not sure if I can think he's anything but a lost cause. [ Even on a good day. ] But...that might be because you saw something I didn't.

[purrtagonist]

[perhaps it's less "saved" and more. . . "convinced of the error of his ways?"]

All I'm asking now is that we don't jump to conclusions. The information we gathered is still pretty bare bones.

He really doesn't like this guy at all. Akira you have probably more tolerance than he does... ]

... yeah, you're right. I'll definitely think it over, I'm sure if we learn more then maybe it'll be easier to figure out where to go with this.

[ That is not what he intended to say...but he feels compelled to find a positive in this somehow and then before he knew it, that's what came out. Well, okay, maybe it's not a bad point anyway. ]

Mmm. Right.

[maybe it's less "tolerance" and more. . . "has dealt with someone like this before." Akechi, after all, was awfully similar. wasn't he?]
