WEEK 3

Week three opens like the other two weeks, but when you wake up, you know there's been a change in the area. At first, nothing is wrong - but when you look at any window, you aren't greeted with the cheery sight of the outside - instead, there's just a cold, harsh blackness. Trying to leave out the doors is impossible, too - if you try, you just find yourself back on the couches in the lobby. On top of that....The Staff are beginning to act even stranger, their glitching out becoming more obvious. Sometimes, they seemingly go blank mid sentence and walk away, as if they were reset, and slur or stutter their words.

The weather is...well, non-existent, except for the courtyard, which is still pleasantly snowy. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. Yet, it doesn't seem like you're any closer to solving this...

And time still ticks onwards, regardless if you're ready or not.

She's one of the smarter ones here, it'd be annoying if she died because you were careless.

She is really smart, but I'd keep her safe even if she wasn't.

[Welp, she apparently has a helpful braided koala now along with everything else. How did this happen. She’s just going to give a small resigned sigh and shift her weight. And then tilt her head at Kohaku.]

... We’re all right, Kohaku-kun. Do you have anyone to stay with?

[ Shrugs. ]

Nah. I'll probably be sleeping on my own - not that I'm not armed and all.

[ Hehe. She'll look up at Aoi, then look over at Kohaku to also tilt her head at him. She's helping! ]

Right!

[Cinque is totally helping. Now there are two of them staring expectantly at him in tandem.]

You remember what I said before, right? About safety and also making things easier if something happens. I think you should stay with us.

If you want an additional pair of firearms, you can just say so.

[ Said in a very grumbly tone of voice because clearly he is here for additional muscle. That's how things are supposed to be. ]

Huh? What do you mean by that?

Well... in a story, there's certain actions or sayings that tend to be followed by a character dying. Like, someone talking about going home to their family before a big battle, or saying they'll confess their love to someone after they escape an dangerous situation! Or, promising to someone they'll come back alive!

[Tsumugi's taking on an almost lecture like tone here as she goes on.]

Those are pretty basic ones though...

Oh! Like someone saying they are proud of you or being told if we don't come back, they'll come kick our butt?
