MOCK ROUND - WEEK 1
All of the guests awoke in their rooms, just like they had before.
Yesterday had been a day of surprises.
First, they'd finally met the person who had brought them here.
Secondly, they'd learned they were going to be playing a false murder mystery for two weeks.
And most important, they learned that wishes could be granted if they won this game.🗈

Still, for now, it seemed like there wasn't much to do. Was the Witch already in talks with the 'Murderer'? Was the 'victim' already decided upon?
There was no way to know until some day later this week, apparently.
Still, it wasn't all bad. The island was beautiful and the climate just perfect for beachgoing, or taking a cosy walk in the garden. There were also board and card games which would be produced upon request, to help ease the boredom of it all.
Though, perhaps the guests would prefer to get to know each other instead? On maybe get into some trouble as they roamed the island.
Yet, with only a fake game in front of them....there's no proper sense of foreboding, is there?
....But maybe all of this...
...Is just the calm before the storm.

You really outdid yourself Reggie... [Bruno mutters as he continues reading through his brother's (slightly romanticized) experiences.
There is... One book Bruno hasn't discovered yet. It's an old, battered handmade journal that looks like it was left in a damp place for years. The drawing on the weathered cover seems to be a more recent addition, but it makes it perfectly clear who this belongs to...]

Riku hasn't been entirely super about getting to know people or talk much, but he's always been someone somewhat standoffish. Maybe even moreso now--however, he can be located easily today.
First at the docks, hands in pockets as his green irises gaze out into the endless sea before him, allowing the breeze to gently caress his hair as he allows himself to become lost to thought. Probably not at his most approachable, but he won't turn away company.
Soon afterwards, Riku can be found on the beach, and hearing any footsteps will cause him to slightly turn his head in the direction of the other party. ]
Come out for a dip?
[ Then later on Riku is seen in the ballroom. Ask him for a dance? Okay, no, he's just gazing at portrait now. He's muttering to himself now, rather to anyone in particular. ]
...feels like she's everywhere in this place.

You're really not. And even if you were, it's not like I own the beach.

ALL AROUND THE MANSION AND GARDEN AND BEACH
(he was in the library, getting very very distracted)
But today, he's making good on his promise to Lambdadelta to GET IN SHAPE! YEAH!
All day long, he will be powerwalking through the mansion, around it, in the garden, down to the beach and docks, and back up again.
Of course, he's taking breaks whenever he gets winded -- which is pretty frequently. But once he sets his mind to something, he's going to do it, goshdangit!
Panting, he stops to take a swig of water from a bottle he's carrying]
Ah.... phew.... it's so hot... Is it really hot to you?
[But eventually, he does get too exhausted to continue, and in the late afternoon, just as the light is beginning to turn red, he can be found on the beach. He's left his shoes, socks, and gloves on the dock, though he still has the chunky golden bracelets around his wrists.
He stands in the water up to his knees, seemingly just staring out over the horizon
Dunk him]powerwalkin
And she's pretty observant in the first place. Robot, you know.
So once he stops to take a break she also stops what she's doing (there's a book she's carrying, which looks suspiciously like a volume of (offbrand?) Harry Potter) and appraises the current state of the powerwalking.]
It does seem to be summer here. Others have been doing their exercises earlier in the morning or in the ocean.

there are a few markers and scraps of paper lying around that you might notice he is focused drawing on or if you happen to pass by later you will notice he is trying to tape something onto his name plaque of his door (which may or may not be spelled right... ) that reads: THE MAGNIFICENT GREAT DEMON LORD RAENEF! it is a very important addition that he looks pretty proud of]

Is it normal for someone to advertise themselves this way? Or... are you starting something with the witch?
[That's the only reason she could think of to flaunt something so bizarre. Raenef at least seemed to be fully in possession of his faculties earlier...]

The Magnificent Great Demon Lord Raenef... It is a bold title, yet one I'm sure is well-earned. There must be a wonderful story behind such a name.
