MOCK ROUND - WEEK 1
All of the guests awoke in their rooms, just like they had before.
Yesterday had been a day of surprises.
First, they'd finally met the person who had brought them here.
Secondly, they'd learned they were going to be playing a false murder mystery for two weeks.
And most important, they learned that wishes could be granted if they won this game.🗈

Still, for now, it seemed like there wasn't much to do. Was the Witch already in talks with the 'Murderer'? Was the 'victim' already decided upon?
There was no way to know until some day later this week, apparently.
Still, it wasn't all bad. The island was beautiful and the climate just perfect for beachgoing, or taking a cosy walk in the garden. There were also board and card games which would be produced upon request, to help ease the boredom of it all.
Though, perhaps the guests would prefer to get to know each other instead? On maybe get into some trouble as they roamed the island.
Yet, with only a fake game in front of them....there's no proper sense of foreboding, is there?
....But maybe all of this...
...Is just the calm before the storm.

Yeah! I mean... there's definitely oceans and beaches where I come from, I just never... got around to seeing them. It's so pretty. It makes me wish I could swim.

[ The whole 'trying to see the best in everyone' reminded him of a certain someone, though it's not an entirely a bad thing as far as he was concerned. If you guessed that 'someone' was Sora, then you won double jeopardy. ]
If you want, I could give you some pointers on how to swim.
[ Riku is sure most people could learn how to if they tried hard enough. ]

I'm not. I'm pretty light, actually. I'm just... I dunno. Not good at floating. I kind of panic. Usually if I have to deal with water, I use my psychokinesis to make a bubble around me instead, but... you know. No powers.

[ He wonders if that could help with the panicking. ]

Riku is, in fact, big and strong. Riku follows suit rather easily. ]
Yeah, lived on an island practically all my life, which gave me a lot of chances to become pretty well practiced at swimming.
[ Stepping closer to the water now. ]

[he puts his socks and boots in a neat pile on the dock, then takes off his gloves. The golden rings seem to be attached to the tops of his boots, but the same cannot be said of the bracelet versions, which he decides to leave on. The cyan glow-lines on the clothing go dark when he takes them off. ]

[Silver pads closer to the water, and the surf gently laps at his paw-like feet (complete with blunt little white claws)] Eep.... It's colder than I thought it would be.

But anyway, floating's real easy, especially in shallow water.
[ Riku flings off his jacket-vest and then heads further in so he's at a good distance in before allowing himself to lean back against it. He lies still, calm as he just ... literally floats there, yeah. ]
The trick to it is to relax, keep your arms and legs spread out too. As long as you don't go too far in I don't think you'll even have trouble with it. Got it?
[ This is the second time he's getting his clothes wet here smh. But he rights himself so he's standing and gives the other a look before giving a hand gesture for him to give it a try. ]

He looks up to watch Riku, head tilted. It does SEEM straight forward]
Ok... relax... and arms and legs out.
[Silver wades out until he's up to the middle of his belly, the waves just lapping at his chest and neck ruff. Then he kind of... slowly... sinks into the water, and throws his arms and legs out...
and floats!!]
!! This water is... floatier than normal?

The sea has a lot of salt water. If you're not used to it, it could feel a little different.

Salt... water? [he tilts his head at Riku, then looks down at the water. He dips his finger in it, then puts it in his mouth] .. Bleugh!!

How about he splashes a little bit of water at him, huh. ]

[SPLASHED! He looks completely offended at first. How could you do this. How could you splash him with this horrible water. But then... he splashes back!!]

Some old habits die hard, but look he hasn't splashed someone in a long time, ok. He's definitely gonna be drenched by the end of this, though... ]
