WEEK 2

With the nature of this 'game' out, the resort might not look so welcoming anymore. The staff are still ready to jump in and serve guests in any way they can, provided a request doesn't make them short-circuit, and the resort itself seems as warm and cheery as usual. But everyone knows the truth now. This resort is hiding some pretty big secrets, and it's only a matter of time before someone else turns up dead.

The weather is holding steady, at 'cold but still safe for outdoor activities'. The temperature seems to be dipping lower each day, though, and the previously-blue sky is starting to stay grey more often than not. Could that signal an approaching snowstorm? Who know. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. But it might not be enough to put everything together yet, that might take some more time.

Most importantly, everyone needs to get to know each other. This 'game' is one of 'know your enemies', and your very survival depends on knowing when someone is acting odd.

[There's a significant pause before she replies. Ripley's expression wavers ever so slightly.]

You've been having dreams? What of?

...I'd rather not talk about it. But people were all having the same dream last week, so I was wondering if that was the case again.

[xenoqueen]

[Ripley's eyebrows knit together in an expression of...worry?]

I have a feeling we're missing the bigger picture, here. These 'dreams' may not be 'dreams' so much as memories.

Yeah. That might be possible.

[He looks a little worried about it himself.]

Then...did only some people "remember" being in a lab again?

I might have been? I had an orange jumpsuit on, and everything looked really sterile.

I...think that was what I remembered, too, it's just-- [She closes her eyes.] None of this makes sense.

Did anyone see a lady with red hair in their dreams?

[His eyes widen.]

Yeah! There was a woman called Red.

Oh! So that's her name?

[Huh!]

She had a really pretty voice. She sang sometimes - I remember thinking I really liked her songs. I even put it on a music player, even though it wasn't as good on that.

[Nodding along!]

That sounds like her. I... remember making her curry. She liked spicy food a lot.

...No, not really. But the people there were jerks.

They were? The people in my dream weren't mean to me or anything.

...Yeah, whatever. They were just too curious for their own good.

[ It reminded him of someone he knew. Someone he didn't like. But... ]

Did anything about a strange Machine come up in your dream?

There wasn't anyone else in my dream. Just a machine.

[Stares into the sun because that machine tho.]

Sounds like there's a few people who remember a machine...

What was it for?

It was one of a bunch of applications I was trying to work with on a smartphone, but it wasn't responding, so I have no idea what it was for.

[A moment of thought, scrunching her brows, or maybe that's just at the memory itself.]

It was called... SCP-5832?

No....but did anyone see some sort of ritual? And a man that asked you questions?

What kind of ritual and questions? I didn't see anybody else, but it seems like there were a lot of people involved in these dreams...

[She's kind of envious.]

It was just...a sort of ritual. Lots of drums and some sort of chanting. I remember that I was really interested and wouldn't stop watching.

[ flat pauses, trying to focus on any details. ]

Then...this man asked me what I thought about it, so I tried to explain it to him, but I guess he just didn't understand me. He looked at me weird and then just wrote down some notes.

I don't think they were all the same this time, actually. I did have one, though...

Yeah, it sounds like everyone saw different stuff this week.

I wonder why it was all the same last time.

Actually, I might have an answer to that... I'll announce it a bit later. Fo rnow, I have a question: Did the name "The Foundation" show up for anyone else?

[He repears it, trying to recall any possible mentions.]

No, I didn't see anything like that.
