Week 2 Mingle

With the nature of this 'game' out, the resort might not look so welcoming anymore. The staff are still ready to jump in and serve guests in any way they can, provided a request doesn't make them short-circuit, and the resort itself seems as warm and cheery as usual. But everyone knows the truth now. This resort is hiding some pretty big secrets, and it's only a matter of time before someone else turns up dead.
The weather is holding steady, at 'cold but still safe for outdoor activities'. The temperature seems to be dipping lower each day, though, and the previously-blue sky is starting to stay grey more often than not. Could that signal an approaching snowstorm? Who know. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.
On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. But it might not be enough to put everything together yet, that might take some more time.
Most importantly, everyone needs to get to know each other. This 'game' is one of 'know your enemies', and your very survival depends on knowing when someone is acting odd.

I...think that was what I remembered, too, it's just-- [She closes her eyes.] None of this makes sense.

[Because orange jumpsuits.]

[She falls quiet, her eyebrows furrowed in thought. She doesn't like not knowing things, especially in a situation as precarious as this one.]

[He trails off, and he shakes his head.]
Something was about to happen, in a few days. I can't quite remember what. So it felt like I was in limbo until then? I couldn't go anywhere, so I was just wandering around a...base, or a lab, or whatever that place was.

We'll have to keep these things in mind moving forward. I don't know how this falls into place, but...it has to. [A pause.] Somehow.

You're right. That, plus whatever...Ellie say about us being in new bodies...
[She doesn't like the implications of that.]
We need to see how this plays into getting out of here or...playing the game.

[because that sounds a hell of a lot concerning]

maybe "we're all rememberuing things at the same time" is also farfetcehd but it makes a bit more sens,e sijnce we all have no memory of how we got here, so it could be a sign that whatever form of memory blocking we had is wearting off?
i also rem, ember that whatever patient i was workign on- the word "scp" came to mind. id otn know what it means but i know that the patient was oen.
no subject
[especially after that one staff member asked her whether she'd actually been in space or not....]
scp? is that an acronym or something? or a codeword? do you know if the patient you were working on was different in any way? i mean, different in the sense of being something other than human.

I remembered hearing talk about having a tracker on me. It told them if I left the 'facility' or not.
[A grunt.]
No clue if it was real, or if its still there. We've lost the only people who could check, anyway.
no subject
It seems like all of these...dreams or memories or whatever have several things in common--first off, it's always in some facility or some sort. Secondly, it's usually being facilitated by other people in some way.
...Who knows how much time has passed since then?
[She grips her hands tighter around her arms, though her expression doesn't change. She doesn't like any of this.]

There's no way to tell...for now. Unless we ask Fift- The Apprentice. See if he has any answers.
[He's sure it'll all be things he can't disclose yet, but it's worth a shot.]
Another thing, I remembered there being 'agents', and guards. Any of that familiar to you?
no subject
[Ripley tilts his head, raising an eyebrow. She heard that.]
Fift? [She repeats.]

[It wasn't a bad dream, it was...fulfilling in some odd manner]

...But she's not going to discuss it here. Instead, she just gives Iwai a curt nod. Just so he knows.]
no subject
You didn't, huh? [Hrrnnhhgh] Strange, it felt like I was trying to escape.

[...]
I was helping bring down fatalities by seven percent lower already since I started workin'. Kind of a feat, I guess. Was aiming to bring the number even lower.

[Hm...]
They had me analyzing some weird stone. No idea why they'd give that task to someone who's not even a geologist, but they sure did.
no subject
[She sighs. It had broken again. They wanted her to fix it again. Again? Like she'd done that before? Everything about it felt familiar yet...so alien.]
What was so weird about the stone, anyways?
no subject
[Normal stones don't do that!!]
