WEEK 2

With the nature of this 'game' out, the resort might not look so welcoming anymore. The staff are still ready to jump in and serve guests in any way they can, provided a request doesn't make them short-circuit, and the resort itself seems as warm and cheery as usual. But everyone knows the truth now. This resort is hiding some pretty big secrets, and it's only a matter of time before someone else turns up dead.

The weather is holding steady, at 'cold but still safe for outdoor activities'. The temperature seems to be dipping lower each day, though, and the previously-blue sky is starting to stay grey more often than not. Could that signal an approaching snowstorm? Who know. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. But it might not be enough to put everything together yet, that might take some more time.

Most importantly, everyone needs to get to know each other. This 'game' is one of 'know your enemies', and your very survival depends on knowing when someone is acting odd.

[ It's the day before death and if you're passing by the lobby, you might see Inaba standing on one of the chairs with a metal pot in her hand as she bangs on it with a wooden spoon to call everyone's attention. And if that isn't loud enough and you pointedly ignore it?

Her voice will ring out, just as loud. ]

HEY, EVERYONE!

I wanted to call to attention that it's fucking Thursday again, and that means that one of the monsters is going to strike. I mentioned this during the Monday meeting, but I don't think anyone heard me the first time, so I'll bring it up here so everyone can hear me: I think that if anybody plans on sleeping over at someone else's tonight, that they should at least publicly state who they're going to be with for the whole group in the off chance they get fucking murdered tomorrow, so we can at least figure out who the suspects are. This isn't a PSA for me to go "oh, we should stay in groups" or whatever, because I get why you wouldn't.

Just bear in mind that it's kind of important to get this kind of information out before any murders occur in case of any emergencies.

Anyway, that's all I wanted to say. If anybody else has anything they want to bring up or whatever, since it's been a while since the last meeting, feel free to do so.

[ And now that she's said her piece, she's hopping off the chair she's standing on and just opts to sit on it properly. There we go. ]

We've really figured out a lot, so I wonder if we should start...keeping a note of things we've figured out. Or talk about something new that hasn't come up or was recently found out, because maybe some new information can be used to help stop a death from happening.

[ He literally doesn't even believe it would, but he could be wrong. And he's trying to keep an open mind. ]

We also really need a plan of action, just for the future.

I'm going to hang with Yoyo and Blueski. Then I'm going to tackle Owain! Him, Cynnie, and Gerbear are having a sleepover.

[ He's kind of rolling his eyes at the micromanaging, but after the disaster of last trial, he gets why it's necessary. ]

I've got no plans as of now and I don't see why it'd change. I'll be alone in my room.

I'll be sleeping with my boyfriend on Thursday night.

[And then he just... fucking turns around to leave.]

My cousin Cynthia and I will be invading Gerome's room tonight! Cinque will be joining us as well.

Oh— I guess I don't really have any plans for tomorrow.

Eh? Now that I think about it, I haven't made plans at all...I guess I'll watch movies if anyone wants?

Oh, uh, and can someone help me get my couch out of my room? It's a great couch and I think it'll be super useful!

I didn't have anything set up myself, so I'll probably be staying alone in my room tonight.

Umm... I have a announcement too...!

[Tsumugi is nervous getting everyone's attention like this, but she has an idea. There are a few boxes full of cans of bug spray that Tsumugi brought to the meeting with her.]

Bug spray doesn't kill spiders right away... but it hurts them. I'm not sure if it will help against a huge one... but I hope that this is something. So... please plainly take as much as you want!

[ After his discussion with Iwai yesterday, Owain had a request for the Staff. Upon finding the first, poor unlucky soul-- I mean lucky and helpful staff member, Owain requested for a Levin Sword. The staff member nodded and kept a healthy distance before running off to fetch the blade. After getting the blade, the staff member offered it to Owain, who took it, fingers accidentally grazing the hand of the staff member, who then proceeded to strike a BOLD AND POWERFUL pose, before they were ushered away never to be seen again.

Now, Owain is outside in the ski area, in front of an army of snow men. For once, he's actually looking pretty serious. He's swinging the sword in front of him, getting a feel for its weight. ]

Okay, let's do this.

[ He takes a stance, but rather than charging at the snowmen, he points the blade in the direction of one of the snow men and then lightning seems to come down from the sky and strikes the snow man dead.

Owain pauses as he takes in the destruction of the snow man and grins. ]

I guess I got more magic from Mother than I thought!

[ WOW ARE YOU KILLING THE SNOW CHILDREN

Cinque hears the sound and comes to investigate. The snow crunches loudly underfoot as she hurries over to see. ]

Hello hello. Are you beating up the snow?

...that's far more destructive than expected.

[Oh no]

[ Why are people always lighting up the ski area? Please, the slopes are his home. Respect them. Also, that looks like a Levin Sword so he's coming over. ]

[The sudden lightening gets a startled shriek from Tsumugi, who went looking for Owain once she finished the modifications to his G.I. Joe earlier today. She almost drops said G.I. Joe into the snow from shock. A small more calm part of her thinks that when she got carried away and made a small removable Fun Foam sword and sheath, that it should have been modeled after that.]

[huh, she looks a little impressed.]

Oh, not a bad shot.

Puppy and Cinque

[ Later on, Cinque can be found talking loudly over in the ski shop. She's grabbing things and then vanishing behind a clothing rack. If someone listens closely enough, they can here the patter-patter of paws on the floor. ]

[ She's holding up one of those beards made from yarn that's attached to a hat.

Lord Pinkie Oreo is too busy chewing on or trying to play with a stuffed moose from the gift shop. Wagging it's tail as Cinque scratches his ears. ]
