WEEK 6 MINGLE

You wake up to the sound of silence in the halls, the lights still dimmed after what happened on the weekend. The Staff is still soundly gone, including The Chef - and items aren't regenerating out of thin air for all of you anymore. There's still enough food for everyone who's left, but you'll have to make it yourself, now that The Chef is out of commission. No movies play, the Arcade is dead, and all of the animals from the cafe have vanished, beyond the pets you brought or got during the game.
More than that, however, is that The dead no longer seem to be around from a living perspective. While the tablets went down as soon as The Lady did, they seem to not even be able to pick up or interact with the rest of you. Are they still here?
However, there's another major change - as you come down into the lobby, you'll see that The Resort has landed in an area - the ocean is clearly visible, as it rests close to a beach nearby. More than that, however - you can actually go outside. And it seems like the resort won't pull you back in.
You could, conceivably, just walk out the door, and into freedom. But...Should you?
MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY

MONDAY
A CHOICE
Do you leave the Resort grounds and abandon the dead and the Resort itself, or do you stay and try to get The Outsider out and fix everything?
This is your decision, and no one else can make it for you.]
((OOcly, this choice is for you living players to decide if you want to end the game now or continue on into the endgame. ICly your characters don't have anything stopping them beyond the state of the dead and the resort.))

[A part of her is actually impressed to be honest.]
DISCUSSION
You can't leave.
["he" tucks a strand of hair behind his ears.]
If you do, everyone who's died will, well... Actually die. And they're already working hard to try and buy us all more time to save the resort, and that idiot who started all this.
no subject
[ It's good to see him again after all of that at least. He kind of feels guilty for not being able to approach him over the weekend while settling his thoughts, but... maybe there'll be time for that later. ]
I already decided that I'm going to stay, and I think we should all do that too--in order to save everyone else who died.
[ He ... actually doesn't care about the Resort's existential state beyond 'they need to save the dead', because to him they actually matter and it just so happens fixing everything with the Resort saves them too. ]
no subject
I don't think I could convincingly pretend to be him.

But those of us who have no such attachments should just leave and not risk themselves any further. Our pay isn't enough for this buklshit.

Also, I've still been talking to the Outsider and he's in bad shape. He had to use a lot of his power during the trial and now his left arm is made up of shadows up to his elbow.

And.., if there’s anything we can do for the resort at this point.

Ghost Shrine + Rat Contact
[There's a small and relatively simple wooden butsudan shrine set up in a relatively central location in the lobby. There's a small selection of flowers from the greenhouse there, including spider lilies, and some fruit and a couple of containers of ashes.
Because this is for all the ghosts, you see, or trying to be; with the storage and knowledge they have, this is the best Aoi could do on short notice. Now that there's no other way to contact the ghosts, this is a way to let them know they're not forgotten.
Makeshift as it is, people are also free to drop off trinkets and other memorials to whichever ghosts they want. Aoi will be here intermittently through the week, kneeling in front of the shrine with her palms pressed together quietly.]
II. We're All in the Rat's Race to Hell (Closed to Anthy, Chu-Chu and Various Rodents)
[Later on Monday, one (1) Blue Angel will be wandering the halls of the Resort and following the rat mazes in the walls looking for that particular inhabitant-slash-spouse. She's got Sol's stone with her, so hopefully that will be enough to get them some form of dialogue going.
One problem: Unlike the ghost-detection from this weekend, she has no idea what to call the rats. She really should have thought of this beforehand.]
... Hello...? Rat... Rats-san? Are you here?
[Help.]

i;
He has no idea what he's looking at, even with the flowers (not knowing the meaning of spider lilies still). He's never even seen a funeral before in his life, either, so that wouldn't help give him context.
When he spots her nearby it, he'll approach her. ]

If you happen to go near Medic's room, there's a few bags of his flock's blend of seed and grains outside the door. One or two of the birds are pecking into ragged holes torn into the bags, eating their fill.
Archimedes sits on his own in the rafters in the lobby, puffed up into a ball of feathers and looking listless. A few of the other pigeons try to join him, but eventually he pecks them away, flaring his wings irritably. He doesn't want their pity. They didn't know his Papa like he does. They didn't even know him until after he died. And now he can't even feel his Papa around, or any of Papa's friends or partners.
He's alone.]
