WEEK 6

You wake up to the sound of silence in the halls, the lights still dimmed after what happened on the weekend. The Staff is still soundly gone, including The Chef - and items aren't regenerating out of thin air for all of you anymore. There's still enough food for everyone who's left, but you'll have to make it yourself, now that The Chef is out of commission. No movies play, the Arcade is dead, and all of the animals from the cafe have vanished, beyond the pets you brought or got during the game.

More than that, however, is that The dead no longer seem to be around from a living perspective. While the tablets went down as soon as The Lady did, they seem to not even be able to pick up or interact with the rest of you. Are they still here?

However, there's another major change - as you come down into the lobby, you'll see that The Resort has landed in an area - the ocean is clearly visible, as it rests close to a beach nearby. More than that, however - you can actually go outside. And it seems like the resort won't pull you back in.

You could, conceivably, just walk out the door, and into freedom. But...Should you?

Right. I think he might actually like me.

[ Moving over to give Roxas a tight hug though. ]

I wouldn't be surprised...it's kind of really hard for anyone to hate or dislike you, no matter what's happened. And I just realized I still need to really talk to him about something.

[ So, that's another reason to save the Outsider, he guesses.

He'll nod at her next words, but he isn't expecting the hug, though it's not unwelcome given that he returns it a bit of time afterwards and a little tightly on his end. ]

You're only saying that because you're my friend. Thank you, Roxy. What are you going to talk to him about?

That's not the only reason.

[ Roxas pokes her once at that after freeing one of his hands, small smile still on his face, before it fades. ]

...Remember when you told me that the Outsider was going to try to find out who "she" is? I still plan on asking him, but with the way things are...I think that's going to need to wait until later.

[ Hey she didn't say he can have a free hand. She grins and then pokes him in turn. ]

Yeah, we'll make sure he gets out so he can try.

[ Wow!! Roxas just...pokes right back, turning into it a little poke-war. ]

Looks like for one reason or another we've all agreed to get his bum out, then.

[ Everyone's had their own reasons, but it's put them on the same path. He can be thankful for that, at least. ]

[ Lets try to catch those fingers cause she is a cheater. ]

[ Wow, that is super unfair, how could you do this... ]

Cheater.

[ Totally a natural and mature response to that. ]

It's only cheating when you do it.

[ According to the rules she just made up. Grinning a bit and just going to hold those hands. ]

Hey hey... how are you feeling?

[ Roxas just sticks his tongue out for a moment. Congrats you are one of three people who have seen him act like this.

Though at the question, he just looks to the side. ]

...I don't know how I'm feeling right now. [ ... ] What made you ask?

[ She grins and sticks her tongue back out.

Though the question makes glance down. ]

This weekend sure was a lot. And then Sataling...

[ Did the thing. She's adjusting her hold on his hands so she can swing them slowly ]

[ Roxas looks back sharply like that, anger in his eyes. ]

And then he what?

[ His voice doesn't raise, but there's a snap to it, before he looks down at their hands, which are now shaking with those feelings. Before he sighs, letting himself - sort of - settle. There were so many reasons he found it upsetting, some of which were rather personal. ]

Fine, I lied--I know exactly how I feel. But, it doesn't matter anymore, does it? It's done and as long as everyone who was involved has made their decision, there's no point in talking about it anymore. With anyone.

[ Not that Roxas really believes that, because he pretty much shares almost everything with Vanitas, and he's spoken to Cinque a lot too. ]

[ Letting go of their hands to step closer. Incoming hug. ]

You can talk about it anyways, you know. I'm here, Roxy.

[ So she'll listen. ]

[13thpromise]

[ When she hugs him, he tenses, because he's in a horrid mood if anything, and he's not really feeling up to doing much sensible talking about the subject. Not right now.

Though, he relaxes the moment after. ]

...I know.

[ Roxas almost smiles except it doesn't quite happen - then he's pulling away from her, and stepping back. ]

I'll be fine. As stupid as that was, I don't really think this is worth wasting anymore time with us talking about it. We need to focus on getting everyone out of this place, and do what we can for now.

I think...I'll just take a walk for a bit to think about it.

[whirlingmace]

[ Looking down for a moment and then nodding. ]

Alright.. You're right, we do. And we will. We'll find a way to save everyone.
