WEEK 2

With the nature of this 'game' out, the resort might not look so welcoming anymore. The staff are still ready to jump in and serve guests in any way they can, provided a request doesn't make them short-circuit, and the resort itself seems as warm and cheery as usual. But everyone knows the truth now. This resort is hiding some pretty big secrets, and it's only a matter of time before someone else turns up dead.

The weather is holding steady, at 'cold but still safe for outdoor activities'. The temperature seems to be dipping lower each day, though, and the previously-blue sky is starting to stay grey more often than not. Could that signal an approaching snowstorm? Who know. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. But it might not be enough to put everything together yet, that might take some more time.

Most importantly, everyone needs to get to know each other. This 'game' is one of 'know your enemies', and your very survival depends on knowing when someone is acting odd.

[ by the time gerome returns, owain is going to char the rest of these snowmen ]

[ stop charring snowmen!! he may or may not have made a to scale minerva snow wyvern somewhere around here with cynthia and he doesn't want owain to destroy it

also, he's back and he has a brave lance with him. looking at the snow massacre here and then at owain. with judgment ]

[ he won't dare destroy a snow minerva. he knows that those are sacred and worthy of protection.

but look, he wanted to get more practice in before he practices with a moving target. ]

A Brave Lance? Interesting. This shall truly be quite a battle between us.

I'm not holding back.

[ to siginal he's ready, he gives the lance a half spin and drops into fighting position. this is happening or something??? ]

I wouldn't want you to.

[ his smile drops, and he spins his own sword as he settles into a fighting position as well. he's waiting for gerome to make the first move, trying to figure out the best way to react. ]

[ he's just going to go for it. ordinarily, he would want to pace himself and use the length of his weapon to his advantage. here though? owain can use magic, which he knows is a danger to him. both in power and in range.

he rushes forward. once he's close enough, he thrusts the lance forward toward owain's chest and lets the spear slip from his fingers enough to double its reach before regaining his hold on the end. ]
